HIV symptoms + Rash?
Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I hope someone can help me. I had a potential exposure to HIV about 10 days ago. I gave oral to a woman. 2 days after I had the contact I felt a bit unwell and came out with some spots on my nose and a cold sore on my mouth. These went away within

Is Sore Throat and Back pain related to ET?
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with ET, Calr mutation last year. I have been having sore throat and back pain since last year that keeps coming back. But the back pain is not as often as the sore throat. Checked it’s not Covid-19. My Gp seems to think that it could be related to ET. Just wondering if anyone

Mouth Taping
I have been a ' mouth breather' all my life . ( 70 yrs old now). I would say it became problematic as I entered by 50's. Waking up in the middle of the night with extreme dry mouth/throat. Then waking in the morning with a slight headache and low energy. I somehow landed on a 'mouth taping' site (

What went wrong?
I’ve been using Bentyl and it’s worked so well until this weekend; I’ve had to use the bathroom so much at school and I really don’t want to miss any more class, why is it interfering with my life again?

Zoledronic acid and dental treatment
Good morning all. It's been a while since I have been active on the forum but read it regularly and I am aware that there has been discussion about bisphosphonates and dental treatment. My PMR started 6 years ago and I have been on pred for almost as long. My GP prescribed AA but I was unable to take

Painful mouth from steroidal preventer. Need help please!
My gp has historically had me on clenil and symbicort at different times. Both of these caused persistent and painful thrush even though I use a spacer and I immediately rinse out my mouth. A month ago I was placed on fostair to see if it would have less side effects. It's been worse. I have no thrush

Dental treatment abroad and travel insurance w/ asthma cover
My mum's due to go to Turkey for dental implant treatment. She has brittle asthma, albeit, controlled. I've found an insurer for the dental aspect, but they won't cover for asthma. Can anybody please give me any suggestions and guidance on what to do? Thank you.

mouth ulcers
As I have been searching ages and cannot find the answer, I wonder if someone can help. I have a friend suffering badly with mouth ulcers and cannot find the name of the "magic mouthwash" people have referred to for this. Can anyone please let me know what it is/called in order to try and help her.

Tonsils
I’ve seen informative posts here about tonsils. I had a CT PET scan that revealed some activity in my tonsils likely due to some kind of infection. This caused me to think back on past issues I’ve had with my tonsils. I had strep throat annually for years as a child. Seemed like every year for a
