All done
I found W9R2 really hard last Friday. The wind was working really hard to push me back and I just made the 30 mins. Today was better and I was a little more comfortable at the end. Still, all done. After a quick shower, I celebrated by going for my flu jab.

Flu jab
Does anyone have feedback on whether it’s a good idea to have a flu jab with PMR? It may be a coincidence, but my first symptoms appeared a few days after a flu jab. It may be that it was lurking and the flu jab triggered it. As a 72-year-old I’m being advised to have it but I’m a bit nervous.

Just had Flu jab in car park now frozen.
Oh yes the joy of being in the Shielding group and having to have the flu vaccine outside, well at least it wasn't raining as well as cold. So now back home frozen to the bone and trying to get warm again. Anyone have any idea why this year's vaccine and last year's is so bruising? I had to have a little

Flu jab
I had my flu jab yesterday within minutes my tongue neck and cheek all on left side started going numb. This is similar to my symptoms of Angina. Never experienced this before after flu jab. Is this common reaction or unusual. It lasted about an hour.

Face Shields/Visors
Hi! I was just wondering if anyone else has problems wearing face shields/visors? I work in a nursery and we are now required to wear PPE when handing over children, and I'm really struggling with the visors! I can't wear masks at all ( I refuse to go anywhere where one is needed, the only exception

Annual Flu Jab/Shot
Today, I received my 2020annual influenza immunization. I was diagnosed with PMR in Sept. 2013. Currently I use 7 mg. Prednisone. I have had an annual flu shot every year since being diagnosed with PMR.. No negative effects or problems as a result. On this Forum, every year there are several questions

Flu Shot & DEXCOM September 2020
This morning, I had gone to my doctor’s office for a flu shot. So far, no problems except for a little soreness and feeling stiff near the area where the shot has been done. This is a lot better than last year’s shot because the numbers aren’t going too high on my receiver.
Please see below for

Flu jab and tapering
Recently diagnosed and now slowly tapering from 35mgs, about to start 30mg after being on 35 for two weeks. Not much help at all from G.P., taking me off prednisolone too quickly, and now he has left it in my hands! I am a retired nurse but I'm also a sufferer of P.M.R. who is frightened

Flu Jab Shortages UK now
Has anybody else been told that surgeries can't vaccinate those under 65 years of age now! Thought those with severe or moderate health issues/ problems at risk if contracting Coronavirus would be prioritized? I am praying that my appointment begin of November is not cancelled! Thinking of you all! Christiane

Flu jab
I received a message from my gp today telling me I’m due my flu jab. And yesterday it popped up in the early morning in the House of Commons about the flu jab. Anyone else having theirs done? Does anyone think it even makes a difference? And I’ve been told you don’t feel well after the jab- get a cold

Flu Vaccination 2020
There appears to be some confusion regards the 2020 Flu vaccination and the availability to different groups. Perhaps the following link will give some clarity. See official Government vaccine poster: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/flu-vaccines-for-the-current-season

GP Surgery on lockdown
Rang my local surgery today to try and establish e few things 1) If I was to get an "annual review"as promised including blood test etc 2) If I could speak to someone about anti-platelet meds that I am having issues with and 3) If/When I am going to get the Flu jab as recommended/advised by NHS. 12 minutes

Access to flu jab
I care for someone with chronic heart failure and is listed as vulnerable. He is 51 and currently GP is unable to provide the flu jab and states that they are doing this for over 65 only. Apparently even if vulnerable they are still unable to provide flu jab at this stage. Is anyone else under 65 having

Did Pred takers come under shielding list?
I found it difficult to follow (ie keep up with and understand) the various rules and guidelines back in March. Pre dx and hubby and I just stayed home apart from a trip to local shops once a week. So which group did you all fall in? I ask because I’ve now been told I can have a flu jab which is all
