Best Protein powder
Has anyone done any observations on the best protein powder and time of use especially at bedtime to maintain weight and muscle. Whey with casein for slower absorption. Saw a double blind study on it

High thyroid antibodies and iron issues
When I posted ~10 days ago about my low-ish ferritin and high serum iron, researcherUK and SlowDragon suggested I get a complete iron profile, as well as test my thyroid antibodies. Thanks again! To recap what I mentioned in my initial post, I was diagnosed in 2010 and currently take 75mcg Synthroid. In

Casein intolerance from cows and goats?
Hi all Been on a big journey with my health that can be summed up in drs finding nothing wrong through tests and concluding it's likely cfs/fibromyalgia. However it's my health and I'm convinced it's something. Through trial and error (I.e excluding from my diet) I have found what I think is an issue

The pill
I’ve started taking the pill again, I take
Yasmin
however I get the nausea side affect really bad so decided to take it at night but unsure if I’ll be covered because of the 12 hour window. Should I take 2 pills in one day?

After years of CFS/FIbro gyno just told me today she thinks I have endometriosis. How effective are the treatments?
She has prescribed me
yasmin
and wants to see how I do. Any one have experience with this? Did it help with the pain? Are there any treatments anybody would recommend? How about the fatigue? Will I improve!?

Safaryl- Yasmin (estrogen-dispronone) MAJOR DEPRESSION
Wow, this is my 3rd attempt at a birth control pill. I've tried ortho tricyclene & Lutera. I was able to take Lutera for 8 months until the depression hit me hard so had to stop. The ortho tricyclene I had to stop on day 12 I was so physically sick & mentally depressed. My doc really thought Safaryl

Side effects from 4 different pills. HELP
After these pills gave me side effects I was then moved onto another set, then
yasmin
tablets and then Lizinna tablets. I suffered side effects from all 4 tablets (boobs are sore and becoming increasingly sore and cramps every day).

Thyroid levels and second opinion
Greetings: I live in Hong Kong as a Canadian ex-pat. I recently had my thyroid tested as I had several indications that it was not functioning well. I've tried to research the results on the web BUT HK levels are not standard when I try to look them up. My medical plan will not pay for retesting

This has the same ingredients as
Yasmin
but also has some Vit B and folate in it. I've tried numerous antidepressants before, none have worked. My doc thinks this bc pill will be the best for me, I start school soon and am nervous I am going to be a mess again, I can't be nauseous and depressed!

Gedarel pill
Is it better or worse than
Yasmin
? Does it help with hormonal acne and hair growth? Will I gain weight with this pill? (I have not taken any type of pill before). Thanks!

Contraceptive pill nolonger helping pain!
I've tried
Yasmin
for a year which only helped a bit, and then tried Microgynon, which provided a significant amount of improvement for about six months, and I was pretty much pain free, but after now having been on that after a year or so, all my symptoms are coming back.

Food allergy testing question
I had food allergy testing. I am allergic to dairy, casein and coffee. I've removed that from my diet (it has been about 3-4 weeks). I'm not feeling any different (bladder issues, stomach pain, bloated...). I'm thinking about starting an elimination diet to remove soy, eggs, sugar and gluten. But, if

How long does the Combined Pill take to work?
I've now changed to
Yasmin
. Side effects have not been good but I have only been on them for 5 days. I remember with Cilest I felt improvements rapidly but have not felt improvements in my pelvic pain since starting

I may have endo... but I don't know!
I've always had weird periods, but since coming off
yasmin
in November 2014 I've been having weirder ones... I was sent to see a gynae consultant in March 2015 after having more painful periods than usual. I was told that I MIGHT have endo and/or PCOS and was put on microgynon and discharged.

Could this be endo (if not what else) and best private plan for diagnosis. Living abroad but returning for healthcare.
I am on
Yasmin
, it was helping for a few months but now the pain is back. At this point, money is not the biggest issue. Extremely understanding lovely boyfriend has told me to just get this sorted by the best person so it stops ruining my life.
