Gedarel pill

Hi ladies,

Just been officially diagnosed with PCOS. My GP has prescribed Gadarel pill. I haven't taken it yet because she said to start it on the first day of my period - if i don't get a period this month, should I start taking it anyway? Also is Gedarel an anti-androgen? Is it better or worse than Yasmin? Does it help with hormonal acne and hair growth? Will I gain weight with this pill? (I have not taken any type of pill before).

Thanks!

Hi Gedarel is a birth control pill, it should help with acne and hair growth. If you look inside the packaging there should be an information sheet that tells you everything you need to know.
