Could this be endo (if not what else) and best private plan for diagnosis. Living abroad but returning for healthcare.

Posted quite a lot recently, but looking for a recommendation for private healthcare for when I return to the UK in September/October. I have no diagnosis, I had a lap with a general gynaecologist in February who wrote n/a all over by discharge sheet. I had supposedly had an ovarian cyst on the left side for most of the year (seen on ultrasound), which wasn't noticed during the laparoscopy. And the pain continues. Now living in South Korea as I do not earn enough (due to chronic illness) to support a spouse visa for my partner.

I am on Yasmin, it was helping for a few months but now the pain is back.

At this point, money is not the biggest issue. Extremely understanding lovely boyfriend has told me to just get this sorted by the best person so it stops ruining my life. Just need to see anyone who can find a solution to this awful undiagnosed condition that is preventing me from doing what I want.

Can anyone recommend a private specialist who

1.) has a great track record in spotting endometriosis

2.) can excise cysts (not drain them)

3.) is good at recognising other conditions which might lead to symptoms if endometriosis is ruled out.

4.) can do everything in 2-3 months (maximum time my partner can stay in the UK with me on a tourist visa)

-------

Symptoms

-----

-Frequent urination and severe pain in left side if I don't go immediately.

-heaviness in pelvic which can only be relieved by applying pressure. Worse when lying or sitting down.

-during periods only passing blood clots, very little blood, pain in left hip during menstruation and ovulation, when I was ovulating. At its worst the pain extended throughout the cycle.

-sporadic stabbing/electric shock sensation both in anus and vagina.

-pelvic pain more intense during bowel movements--fluctuating between loose stools and constipation. Lots of mucus.

-Fatigue.

-pain under left ribcage and extending to groin.

-gurgling on left side.

-headache, left side

-When I wasn't on the pill I would also get pulsating in my left breast, pain in left shoulder and pain extending all the way down my left leg.

-symptoms went away when I was pregnant (unplanned) in 2016 and came back a few months after an induced abortion.

Hi Elizardabeth

We recommend that women seek out institutions that have been peer-reviewed by other medical professionals and deemed centres of excellence. We feel that a good place to start looking for this information is through the BSGE website and Dr Foster website.

bsge.org.uk/ec-BSGE-accredi...

The BSGE accredit specialist endometriosis centres have consultants who are specialists in the field of endometriosis.

I hope this helps.

Thanks. [edited to comply with our code of conduct]. What I worry is whether I'll just be turned away if they don't find endo, or whether they'll be able to look into more causes.

I feel at this point it could be caused by endometriosis, potentially my cyst which is small but in an awkward position, compressed pudendal nerve, diverticulosis, crohn's disease/some other inflammatory bowel condition, severe food allergy.

I won't have much time in the UK to get it checked out so want someone/a centre who sees it in as holistic a manner as possible.
