Broccoli- good or bad?!
Hello everyone I was having a chat with a fellow hypothyroid friend yesterday and she was stressing how bad broccoli was for us- in particular raw broccoli. Now I had read over the last few months that cruciferous veg (think that’s the term?!) are only bad if your under active thyroid is due to goitre

Severe pain following lap....
I was on Cerrazette and now on
Yasmin
. I have had such heavy periods since... one every fortnight.... and the stabbing twisting pain is back in the same place I had the endo cells removed.

Endo: newbie
But the matter is, after two visits to a&e in June, the specialist gyn put me on desostregel (Cerazette) as I can't take combined after a catastrophic attempt in 2014 using
Yasmin

Is it Endo?? :(
On my 18th birthday..I then switched to the
Yasmin
combi pill as I was having major mood swings. Since then I've had additional symptoms such as pain when urinating, pain when pooping (sorry to be so gross!)

Angry and frustrated again!
She was then on
Yasmin
which stopped the problem but increased the risk of strokes, hence the change to the mini pill again. As she is not going to be seeing an endo the latest recommendation is that she could be referred to an ME clinic.

Not exactly gluten related but....
When I had been tested for food intolerance they found I’m intolerant for gluten, wheat, casein, protein or milk from cow, sheep and goat. I can understand the gluten and wheat problem and since from that day I’ve been eating and drinking gluten free. Saw a big difference ofc. Although I lost about 6

Hi, new to this forum
I had run across a post here from quite awhile ago that turned up in my search returns. It was someone who had gone dairy free for some other reason, and rls left. I've dealt with rls for years, and have done the magnesium thing, but I don't have any pain with this, so it's more of an aggravation for

How will missing 2 weeks of the pill affect me (not relating to pregnancy)
Hi, I am on the combined pill
Yasmin
. I am studying abroad and had an appt to get more pills last week, but there was an issue at the surgery and I can't get another appt until next week. This means that on top of my usual 7 day pill break I will miss another 7 days.

Baby or health? Petrified of coming off medication to conceive.
She advised coming off the
Yasmin
and spironolactone and switching to metformin to be in a position to try to conceive.

Yasmin pill
I saw my GP and I was given the
Yasmin
pill. At first my 'fake periods' were 3-4 days long. Then the next couple of months it was 2 - 2 and half days long. My last one was only a day and a half.

Which pill shall I take after my lap?
I have read some posts on here from women saying that
Yasmin
and Lucette have helped their Endo symptoms, like
Yasmin
did mine, but doesn't oestrogen fuel the growth of Endo tissue?!

Excessive period
This will be day 4 of
Yasmin
. My IVF clinic is not concerned because I have just started the pill, and thinks it’s just coincidence and a normal monthly deviation. Does anyone have any advice, should I be concerned? Thank you x
