Life after the first laparoscopy.
She has put me on
Yasmin
, 21 days on, 7 days off. How did you all find life post-laparoscopy? My gynaecologist suggested the adhesions would re-grow and the pill is one way to prevent this. What has been your experience? Thanks as always! xxx

How to select a protein powder
Before adding protein supplement to your diet, it would be helpful to know why, when and in what quantity should they be used. Protein is very essential for good health as it builds lean muscle, strengthens your immune system, repairs damaged cells and tissues and also functions as an energy source.

Giving up on your IUD?
I'm on the pill (
yasmin
/ eloine) on top of the IUD, as IUD alone caused spotting and so did the pill back to back. Using them together I get no bleeds, just cramps and phantom period/ovulation pains.

Endometriosis and Acne
I have been on all of the acne contraceptive pills (including Yas/
Yasmin
) and have been on dianette now for way over a month. I have spent way to much money on skincare routines which will "cure" acne, and I have got to the point I cannot leave the house without feeling ashamed.

Dairy Free.....Goat/Sheep milk/cheese ?
Im understanding that the reason for going dairy free is due to the casein protein being recognised as an antigen and triggering the immune response.... I understand that the protein in cows milk is larger than that in goats / sheep’s milk which I believe is more like that of our own..... So do we need

New contraception
I recently changed from
Yasmin
to Cerazette and I bled from 16th Dec - 29th Dec non stop. However because I am used to not taking pills whilst on my period, I kept forgetting. I had sex on 2 consecutive days - both of which I doubled up on pills.

New to PCOS, treatment and advice
I was put on the contraceptive pill(
Yasmin
) and also metformin as a constant treatment for my PCOS. I have always disliked all the hormonal pills being put into my body, and have heard of a few women treating there PCOS with just metformin and diet and excersise.

PCOS, male hormones, no insuline resistance and IUDs.
When I started taking
Yasmin
all those problems went away but I also got worried because of the many unhealthy side effects of contraceptive pills. My question is: If I get an IUD, will it be able to control all my hormonal problems?

Anti-androgen birth control advice needed!
They've just told me they don't like prescribing
Yasmin
any more because of my age (now over 35) and the blood clot risk. Anyone else come across this? What is the favoured anti-androgen pill now?
