Symptoms can show up 3 to 24 hours later because the gut is involved.

Also symptoms can repeat 24 hours after they first start because the bile and hepatic loop recycle the toxins through the gut again.

Gas and wind for me start 1-3 hours after ingesting the contaminated food. Brain fog and diarrhea show up 12 to 24 hours.

Regarding the brain fog I'am suffering with it right now this morning and about 15 hours has already passed from eating contaminated food. You think nausea and vomiting are also a symptom please?

Yes. The body will try to get rid of it in any way it can. So vomiting is possible but it only clears the stomach and not the gut.

Nausea may be the stomach or gut still sending signals to the brain that things aren’t working right.

For me, I get a follow on symptom that is like paralysis of the gut. After the diarrhea, my regular bowel movements stop for about 48 hours and I get constipated.

Awh, good to know this as I am new into this. I don't get diarrhea but I do get constipated and I pass bad smell gas.
