What is the next step?
I have already tried the pill (dianette and
yasmin
) which didn't help and also tried the injection (can't remember the name may have been depro vera?) but that caused bad acne and mood swings so i discontinued that also. My consultant has told me to stick with it but i'm getting fed up.

Mirena Coil alternatives??
SOOOOOO basically after that essay what I'm trying to say is
Yasmin
- does it work for endo pain? If not what alternatives are there? OR shall I stick the coil out for longer ? ( I would rather not if honest)

I think I have endometriosis but it only seems to occur when I am stressed!?!?
I have tried every pill in the book and have finally settled on
Yasmin
which I take 3 packs in a row of (doctors orders) and then have a week break. I have been on
yasmin
since january 2015. I also find having regular sex helps with the heaviness of the period and the pain too (not sure why).

Greek Yogurt
Many people don't realize that greek yogurt is actually a great source of protein, and much healthier alternative to regular brand name yogurts. Greek yogurt is actually “strained yogurt.” This means the whey protein is removed in the straining process, thickening its texture and leaving only casein

Contraceptive pill and endometriosis confusion
After this my consultant advised me to take my contraceptive pill (
Yasmin
) back to back for 3 months at a time. In March this year I went to see my GP about terrible headaches I keep getting he advised it could be my contraceptive pill and would I try to not take it for a month.

Not getting anywhere
I have had chronic pain, heavy bleeding and tiredness ever since i was 14 years old, I had all the tests done and came back with endometriosis, after that I have tried 5 different contraceptive pills the best being
yasmin
however this caused problems such as constant bleeding and eroded cervix.

Contraception advice
While I was waiting for an appointment with the specialist I went on
Yasmin
as a temporary method of contraception because I couldn't handle the pain that came with being on nothing, but it made me completely mad as well as irrational and almost depressed so I stopped taking it after two packs.

Endo symptoms?
I am about to start taking a new pill,
Yasmin
, continuously but worry about the effects of this since Marvelon left me a depressed wreck after taking it continuously for a few months. Anyone had any success with this? Thanks!

Bin your Pill
Progesterone only pills (Cerazette and Noriday) made me bleed continuously for the whole time I was taking them and Combination pills (Ovranette and
Yasmin
) made me pee all the time, and there are a whole host of strange side effects to the pill.

Balancing your immune system for Hughes and autoimmune conditions
Since we know that APA is autoimmune, we can deduce that our immune systems are malfunctioning. A current area of research in immunology is with the "TH" systems. You have different areas of your immune system, known as T-helpers. The T-helper 1 generally attacks viruses and pathogens directly, while

Hi Everyone - a little worried about bleeding
I was taking
Yasmin
pill and having a break every 3 months, they told me not too, but it didn't feel right not having a break. Decided in December 2013 to come off the pill and try and conceive naturally. Consultant heavily suggested I go straight to IVF.

Frustrated
I bled and spotted for 6 weeks and at my check up I was told to take my
Yasmin
as well as having the coil as it could take up to 6 months to work properly. I still suffered really bad periods, despite having the coil and the pill and was in so much pain.

Lap on Monday, coil or not to coil ?
I quite happily take
yasmin
at the moment which upto now has controlled the pain. Apart from not taking the pills are there any upsides to the mirena over the pill ??

Scared, fed up, don't know what to do!!
I have had reactions and awful side effects to
Yasmin
, mycrogynon and mild effects on zoladex! If the coil is fitted and I have a reaction to it it's not as easy as stopping taking a pill etc!

Did my gyneo have a clue?
She then told me to run the oral contraception
yasmin
for three months and left it at that. I was under the impression it can only be detected by laposcopy? She basically patted me on my bck and sent me on my way with the advice if it gets worse go bck to your gp again.
