I take the Yasmin pill as a contraception and to help with my spots. I want to stop taking the pill but dont want the spots to come back, which they do when i dont it.

Any idea what i can do?

Hi Penney- maybe you could take another pill that also stops you getting spots? I don't know if you have already tried that... If you haven't already I would book an appointment with your GP and together you can find a contraception that suits you. xx

Hi Penney,

If you don't want to take any kind of contraceptive pill - because other pills aside from Yasmin might have a similar effect on your skin - then the other option is to have a chat with your GP about possibly using a short course of antibiotics:

As Becca says, the best thing to do might be to make an appointment with your GP or local contraceptive clinic and have a chat about your options.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Katherine
