Relapsing PMR
I’m interested in others’ experiences with relapse following treatment for PMR. I finished my11-month course of prednisone Dec 31, and was fine for awhile but stiffness and pain - and limited range of motion - are creeping up on me. My internist, who has treated many people with PMR, said that

Can anyone help me interpret / argue my blood results to my GP?
Hi, I had a full run of bloods last week which have all been signed off as "satisfactory" by the GP. This doesn't solve anything, as I'm still so exhausted that I sleep through 3 alarms including a sunlight alarm clock every morning and can barely keep my eyes open all day. I'd be really grateful

ADT and daily carb intake for weight training
I eat salads and veggies for carbs, while I supplement with
whey
, and low carb plant based proteins to keep my daily
protein
to weight ratio up. An occasional Michelob Ultra light, or 4. Anyone eat "One" protein bars? I have one a day to supplement.

Just wondering if anybody is able to shed any light on this mystery autoimmune condition I am experiencing! PMR blood work what are important numbers to look at
Diagnosed in December blood work the number that really stood out was the C reactive protein my number was 128.6 and normal should be less than 8 What numbers should I be looking for and now I am on 30 mg prednisone. To me in seems like my numbers would be all out of whack because of prednisone. If the

Help! Any experiences with Ozurdex implant?
Hi! Sorry if this is a long post, I'm new! Bit of back story; few years ago I was diagnosed with eye cancer and received proton beam therapy treatment for it. This worked excellent and killed off the tumour! As expected I've now begin to lose my central vision due to a bleed cause by radiation damage

What the Hell is going on here? Norfolk's Endo's won't even see my wife for her Hashi's "Can't/Won't do anything" Outrageous!
I had blood tests last September which confirms I have auto-immune thyroiditis (Hashimoto’s). Plus other issues which may be drug interaction related. I asked for a referral to the local NHS Endocrinologists (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and was given a Choose and Book set up where there were

Confused over blood results
Hi, I’ve posted before about issues I’ve had with what appears to be an under active thyroid...so now I’ve got blood results (which might as well be in Spanish!) so I’m hoping that someone here might be able to put them into simple English. In April last year I had a blood test that showed: Thyroid

Test results what do they mean? Have gone online so have previous results when I was complaining of fatigue, confusion over last 5 years...
Felt fairly rubbish over the last 2 months- feeling sleepy if sat back unless using the PC, hence watch TV on a night and o stuff on PC otherwise I would drop off, or reach for something to eat to keep me awake! Hence the expanded waistline.... Appreciate your comments - is it the thyroid, B12, or

Obtained my results as advised by the community, after being advised by GP to go for repeat test in 4-6 weeks as borderline thyroid issue...
Hi Just done the repeat blood test for thyroid and as I asked why my B12 was so high they are retesting B12 in case of a mistake in the lab. (I was expecting a low B12, as my sister has B12 injections, she is hypothyroid, Hashimotos and has MS. Mum and auntie also the hypothyroid condition. I don't
