New to this and struggling alot!
Hi I'm 25 and in the last few months my IBS has become very bad! I think it's been there for about a year but not it's gotten to a point where it's ruining my life and I'm fed up. I'm scared to eat. I don't ever eat anymore if I'm going out or going on a date or anything social :( I'm a young woman and

Losing strength in hands and wrists.
Much more aware of this, this time around and have been forgetting. My hands and wrists are not feeling strong and I am currently in pain. I think I have strained my left hand over my 20 month old Carpal Tunnel surgery scar. Very sore and not really responding to analgesia. I can't even tell you

Advice on how to manage narrowing of the bowel?
Looking for advice and tips on how to manage narrowing of the bowel during chemo before surgery; in terms of laxatives, diet and general care? My Mum has been diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, she is in her late 60s. She has tumours on her small bowel, a large build up of ascites and a narrowing

Totally without scientific proof!
I started using essential oils to make up a rub for my sore knees (injury now passed) then progressed to using them in a burner for nice smells in the wintertime. I've found if I use peppermint oil in the burner it feels as if I've just eaten something pepperminty rather than making me want to eat something

Stomach pain with muscle discomfort
Hi there, for the last 4 months I've had stomach pain(right between ribs mostly after eating)with muscle discomfort in upper and lower back. Both symptoms come and go, sometimes I feel good for a couple days then it's back. The discomfort can last for hrs. Naturopath treated me with candida supplements

Vibrating feet
Sounds strange doesn't it? But I have googled as I don't understand why it's happening, but today they haven't stopped with the intermittent vibrating. I have no pain but it's annoying. I've read that it could be a vit b12 deficiency or I need to have a break from my vitamins that I'm already taking

Such bad pain in legs - could it be NDT or supplements?
Hi, I am about to get latest blood tests done but whilst waiting for the results I was just wondering whether anyone else has experienced terrible leg, feet and back pain? I have quite a high pain barrier but this is really stopping me from doing things! It is similar to the 'stretchy muscle' pain that

Dear "family", It's been only a few days that I came across this forum and I've already found some of the posts invaluable. I was diagnosed with limited sSc in late August and the Internet has been my only advisor...It's good to know that on this forum there is a person on the other side, one that I

Struggling with hypothyroidism and seeking advice please
Hi all, I was diagnosed with 'subclinical hypothyroidism' 'with antibodies' in February, which is rather astounding as my antibodies were never tested at this point. My TSH was 6.1. My results were given over the phone. When I asked if there was anything that I could do to support my health with regards
