Scared of Anti-Depressants
Despite years of reading hordes of books about Depression, learning about myself, going to weekly therapy sessions (with a terrific caring therapist), and forcing myself to bike ride, keep the house tidy, cook, etc. I still have no motivation to do anything. It's extremely difficult to get myself to

Hi all. I know we're supposed to stay active, but it's swimming upstream to stay active when PD is sending the opposite message: "Do it tomorrow, maybe you'll have more energy then. Don't go out. Dyskinesia
Hi everybody ...I am now aged 70, diagnosed at 59. For the last 4 years I've taken Stalevo 125 at 0700,1000,1300,1600 and 1900. Also take Requip XL - 6mg with the 0700 dose and 4mg with the 1900 dose. I'm pretty active, walk 30 mins on treadmill ok. But I get constant dyskinesia - writhing of the head

Better days ahead, I hope
Hi everybody! The last time I was on here I was at a really bad place, but after seeing my doc and having a long overdue therapy session (and prayer), I am finally feeling a little more positive. It's too much to write to compare last time to now, but I've been doing a WHOLE lot of working on me! And

I'm feeling worst then I ever felt!!!!
I'm severely depressed, I'm a Mom of a 6 year old girl, I'm a wife but my husband works 2 jobs and never home, my Mom passed away in my early 20's and my Dad lives in TX. I was on celexa and seroquel, seroquel wasn't working so I got off. Now I'm gonna try Wellbutrin again but got some temporary barriers

Tightness in chest and aniexty
I am 48 and have suffered from aniexty and depression for the last 11 years. I had a breast reduction a year ago in may and my aniexty level has seem to have gotten worse. I have consulted the doctor and he said could be a result of the stuff they use to put me to sleep. I am on on wellbutrin 300 mg

Has anyone had their meds changed to a generic med?
After a few years on Requip XL which suited me very well, I received a letter from my GP informing me that I was being changed to Repinex XL. I tried this and almost immediately my tremor returned and I felt generally unwell. My Parkinsons Nurse told me to ask my GP to put me back on my original medication

I think my doctor is trying to sabotage me..
Ok, so maybe she's not doing it intentionally, but she is definitely contributing. I had a gastric sleeve surgery in March. Everything was great, I had lost about 100 lbs over 4 months, but I was struggling a bit with depression. My Dr. put me on prozac. Well, a month in, and not only did I stop

Are rate control drugs necessary when heart rate is within a "normal range" although AF is 24/7?
For the first time in something like 6 years I have begun to experience some breathlessness and fatigue, previously I have been asymptomatic. GP took me off Bisoprolol and put me on Adizem-XL instead (I also have Warfarin and Losarten). I had to stop the Bisoprolol for a few days before starting the

Three weeks without pacing the floor every night for hours!!!
I started taking Requip XL 4mg three weeks ago because my standard one was not available (out of UK at the time). Apparently the slow release is not used here for RLS but I managed to get it from my GP as I told her my symptoms were so much better. It's been three weeks now and I've had hardly any symptoms
