Hashimoto and peripheral vascular disease
I’ve had low B12, low ferritin, low folate,
water
retention
in my legs for a year, brittle toenails and a soar/ulcer on the side of my knee. Then a light bulb moment. Oh my goodness I thought. Have I got peripheral vascular disease for all this time.

So tired
I’m 39 years old. I’m happily married with 2 beautiful children. My son is 12, has sensory integration disorder, ADHD and autism, but high functioning. My daughter is 5, has sensory integration disorder, is delayed because of difficulties processing language and retaining information. She’s too young

Hi everyone, I’m a 40-year-old female. Since I was 28 I have been on 5 to 6 different antidepressants. I have gone to psychotherapy, psychiatrists, self medicated and I’m at the point now where I feel like nothing will work. When I read about depression symptoms, I often see “ loss of interest in hobbies

5 years after Cyberknife and doctor wants to TURP: transurethral resection of the prostate. Anybody been there?
I've been having small blood clots come out when I urinate for several months now. Occasionally a little blood in urine. I've been thoroughly CT scanned and it's not showing prostate cancer lesions. I've had a cystoscopy of the bladder and there bladder itself looked pretty clean. However, we could

Efexor to Pristiq
Pumpkin, the doctor switched me to Pristiq about five years ago. The transition was great. He gradually moved be over. He lowered Efexor gradually and started me on Pristiq. I had no problems at all. I do know from experience that skipping doses of Pristiq will cause brain shivers. This occurrence

Effexor to pristiq switch
Has anyone switched from effexor to pristiq? I've been on such a long journey to feel relief from constant anxiety and so far nothing works. I was recently on 175mg effexor and my Dr switched me to 50mg pristiq. She had me just completely switch, no weaning. I've taken it for about 4 days now. I suddenly

A bit of history - MY advanced, aggressive PCa story continues ...
A bit of history - MY advanced, aggressive PCa diagnosis seemed like a death sentence. Age 66 - in reasonable healthy state, overall, although I suffer from severe arthritis,, which I have been able to manage (finally) in the last 18 months, with the help of some off label assistance AND medical cannabis

Good news, painfree at last almost..
Hi, my conditions came on quickly and lasted a year. I used Celebrex to control the pain so I could get to the gym. 2 weeks of weight training did very little although I did get stronger. It was when I started aerobic exercise (running on a treadmill and swimming) that I saw a difference. After 4 weeks

Over the last week the

in his abdomen has increased quite dramatically. We have been told he cannot have the fluid removed due to infection risk. The cirrhosis is caused by alcohol misuse. I ask for any advice at all. What can we expect and is there anything I can do?

New here.
I’ve been having a super rough time lately. I was diagnosed with depression about 6 to 7 years ago. Then in the past going on 2 years I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and bipolar disorder. I have a really hard time opening up, and talking to people about how my head feels simply because it just feels

Knowledgeable urologist in Southern Oregon?
I am looking for a urological second opinion regarding urinary retention after TURP. I am also dealing with Gleason 9 PCa with Zytiga/prednisone/Lupron. I am in the Medford area and could use a good reference to a local urologist who has some experience in this area.

Best laser for prostate surgery while on Eliquis?
Has anybody had any experience with a laser Turp while on Eliquis? I had a prostate resection 10 years ago, ( no PAF then) and it was a quite bloody affair, with 4 days of catheterized bladder washing. I filled tens of colored water bags with the draining of my blood loss. Now I have to do a Turp

? Never had this before could it be the NDT? Or I’m not in enough yet. I sleep like a baby, and I’m not stressed either, well apart from this issue. I’ve still got symptoms, freezing cold, massive dark circles and no zest for life. It’s not helping with my body changing.
