Reducing to 25mcg Levo only
Hi all. Just wondered if anyone has ended up on 25 mcg Levo only (no T3 or NDT) as an ongoing, not starter dose? Just had my bloods back (below) and my TSH remains low and T3 high despite dropping from 75 to 50 Levo 3 months ago. TSH .01 ( .3 - 4.2 ) T4 15 ( 9 - 19 ) T3 5.9 ( 3 - 5.4 ) GP

Undiagnosed Hypothyroidism
I've been experiencing hypothyroid symptoms for a couple of years now. My TSH has been steadily creeping up, but so far has remained in the "normal" range when checked in my local surgery, around 3.4. I had some private tests done and my TSH was shown as 4.4 (June) and 5.9 (August). My second test

has anyone else had problem with nurse saying are you sure you’re taking your thyroid tablets I’ve been asked twice this week . It’s really upset me. Apparently the lab said non compliant or dose needs adjusted. why would anyone not take tablets I don’t want to feel this way. They said but you

blood test results help please
hi everyone I hope you don’t mind me asking for help again. I had a blood test request from my endocrinologist last January and was very disappointed he hadn’t requested T4 let alone T3. He’s only interested in TSH and my cholesterol. He also tells me to Jake my Levothyroxine just before a blood test

Active B12 test results
Hi all, Not been on here for a few weeks due to feeling exhausted. I've managed to complete the Active B12 test (thank you Richmond nursing in Llanelli) for fitting me in for the blood draw. I waited with baited breath for my test results to be put on my Medichecks account and I was so shocked when

T3 is high
I had my annual thyroid function test last week and it looks as if my Vitamin D, B12, Folate and Fe4rritin are all a bit on the low side. As I haven't been taken any supplements this year because they were mostly very high when they tested last year, this isnt surprising and I will now begin topping

Latest blood test - advice please
I would welcome thoughts from the community on my latest blood tests please? I had these taken in August results via Medichecks. I have Hashimotos and the bloods were taken first thing in the morning. Interestingly, my Thyroglobulin antibodies are slightly down from 362 in 2022 to 287 in 2024. Not sure

Hi everyone 👋 I’ve just been and collected recent blood results from 29th August . Your thoughts on results would be very much appreciated . John is experiencing bone pain in his legs / tiredness / fatigue / brain bog - and GP just wants to watch and wait 🙈 I think we may have to look at a private

Insights on 4 years of results?
Hello to everyone on here. Does anyone have any insights to share on my results, please? I'm due another blood test with my GP next week and I have asked for a full thyroid panel, but so far they haven't agreed to that. I asked last year too, but they were only willing to measure TSH. I have read on

Hypo crash after going too fast with T3, saliva cortisol readings
Hi, community. So I’ve been on a bit of a wild run over the past 2.5 months trying to get my thyroid therapy back in good shape. To give you a bit of the context, I am a 25 yo female, have been diagnosed with Hashimoto and subclinical hypothyroidism since 2018, started combo therapy (T4+T3) around

calcium and vitamin D
Unfortunately I never got round to joining the PMRGCA uk ( brain sieve forgets to do a lot of things!) and so didn’t hear the speakers from the latest AGM. I have joined today! I was never prescribed calcium when I was diagnosed a year ago. I was told to buy Vitamin D 3000iu and I take it daily ( vitD3

Sore, swollen lips; lethargy and weakness
Hello all.... over the last year or so I have had worsening health. I have been managing ok for a good few years my hypothyrodism / hashimoto's / menopause via Thyroid-S x 2 grains / strictly gluten free for over 5 years / Oestrogel x4 pumps/day. Had reasonable energy levels, body composition, mood

Problem absorbing T4/T3
Just wondering if anyone knows how you can tell if you are not absorbing thyroxine and liothyronine due to gut/stomach problems. Will your TSH and T4/T3 blood levels show you have enough hormone - i.e. will it still get into your blood but not other parts of your system. I currently have a diverticulosis

Hi all- Hypothyroid Newbie
After suffering from pretty much of all HypoT symptoms for last 6 years i came across the Ray Pest articles and Broda Barnes work. Does anyone else have experience of self treating themselves with NDT (e.g Metavive or such like) or perhaps point me to relavent threads on this forum. My waking basal

PMRGCAuk Annual Meeting....I wasn't alone today~!!
After my dress rehearsal last week, I got up at 4:30 AM, Central Time in the States, and was the only person at the Zoom link. I'm thrilled to report that I remembered today, and there were quite a few people. It was wonderful to put faces to the names of HU staff, Trustees, and some 'soul sisters' from
