Pain by left ribs
I have had worsening pain and swelling by my left ribs since having pericarditis and an effusion . I saw my gp and she said it could just be that my chest is more prominent that side . It’s so bad now that I have started using voltarol gel along with strong pain relief to try to sleep, if I lean forward

Left rib pain
I’ve had increasing pain by my left ribs since having pericarditis and an effusion , I’m into my 9th month with this awful condition , I’ve now noticed that by my left ribs I can feel a swollen area, I’ve found voltarol gel helps with the pain , I’ll be speaking to my gp about it , just wondering if

Calf pain
During the last part of my run I experienced a pain in my left calf. Never had before. I carried on to finish my run but it was painful. I do wear compression sleeves so never normally have pain. I usually do a 6k run 3 times a wk. Should I now be avoiding running for a wk to rest the leg and do home

Since Friday evening I rub
Voltaren
gel on the calve in the morning and the evening and I have let my leg rest. The Piri/Ischeas let itself be known again yesterday (Monday), but today it is silent again.

Voltaren, (diclofenac) topical gel OK with pred?
My GP has prescribed
Voltaren
(dicflocinac), for osteoarthritis and hip bursitis pain. I asked about taking it with prednisone and she assured me it’S OK because it’s topical, doesn’t affect internal organs, etc. Has anyone used this gained relief from pain?

Help for these fingers and an angel drawing
Suggested steroid shot and
voltaren
gel. Also physical therapy. Is this caused by inflammation from the autoimmune diseases affecting the tendons in the hands. Or tendonitis? (Not informed on it) Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what if anything helped.

Feeling like it’s not been worth it
Hi, this isn’t a post to be negative as such but I’m just struggling and wondering if there is anything else I can do. I am 55 years old and over the last year (since the pandemic started) I have walked 4-5 miles a day and also been cycling for 4 months. I thought C25K would be another thing to add to

Osteoarthritis of knee
Hi, I am new to this site. Newly diagnosed. Because of poor kidney function, can only take Paracetamol and topical Voltarol Gel. In quite a lot of pain when walking. However, when at rest, hardly any pain. Any tips etc would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Group 6 and Vaccine
As promised I'm updating on the vaccine situation. I had my vaccine this morning - it's the Astrazeneca one. My GP made it known they were doing Group 6 a week ago, so I called and got my slot this week. So far so good. Usually with the flu jab my arm swells up and aches and I feel shattered. So far

Voltarol gel whilst on warfarin
Hell, just a quick question regarding the abive. I am wondering if there would be any problem using an NSAID gel in a small amount on my skin for an injury to my Achilles heel. I am aware of the health guidelines, and from what I have read, as I interpret it, using a small amount of gel in limited amounts

Navigating endometriosis naturally
Hello everybody, I am new on here and would like to share my experience with you. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis 5 years ago at 23 years old, followed by surgery. I'd spent years going round in circles with doctors on meds that make everything worse. The medicines prescribed numb your connection

Bracelet
I’m awaiting an appointment with a clinic my doctor has referred me but I’ve been told because of the pandemic it could be about 25 weeks wait. My hands wrists and shoulders are getting quite painful and I’m just wondering if it’s worth getting a magnetic bracelet which I’ve seen advertised are they

Merry Christmas Everyone
I don’t often check in here as I have had a particularly bad brush with C-19 which has resulted in far more serious problems. I have discovered quite a lot about fibromyalgia and CFS through my research and will reiterate my recommendations about taking curcumin (turmeric); magnesium, and milk thistle
