No pain no gain.
Well after completing week 3 with the help of ice packs and Voltarol with pain coming and going in my knee and heel, I woke up this morning to constant pain in my knee and the heel no better, so I've admitted to myself that I need to give them both a decent rest. Please can anyone help? Can't get in to see GP and in tears with pain!
Hi, I'm new here and signed up because I really need some help. A little background: I've had headaches continuously since I was about 14 years old and my various doctors have never investigated this. They've put me on several medications over the years, including amitryptilene, co-codamol, voltarol

Persistent middle back pain
Hi all, I've had niggling back pain in the middle of my back for about 3 weeks now, worse at night and on resting, esp sitting, it feels like something is stuck in my back.. I'm going see if the GP can check it over, but I'm pretty sure it's muscular in nature. I do a job that involves heavy lifting

Have come out of remission
For the past couple of months I have been suffering from exhaustion and so much pain everywhere. After I have been to work I have to go straight to bed for a few hours and on my 2 days off sleep about 14 hours each day and still be tired. My hands, fingers, elbows, shoulders and knees are in so much

W2R3 - Pass me the ice...
I'll start with the positives, I'VE JUST COMPLETED WEEK 2 WOHOOOO! That's it for the positives because that run was gruelling. The fast pace last run was clearly a fluke (which I'm glad about). Today was awful. My left shin is in agony so I'm lying on the bed still in my running gear with ice packs

Feeling Deflated :(
Hi All - I'm a newbie poster to the forum. I completed the C25K programme nearly 2 weeks ago having never run anywhere since Year 8 Cross Country and spending the last 30 years sitting down in an office job. I've loved the positivity and the sense of achievement that every part of the programme has given

Costochondritis and bronchitis
I use
voltaren
gel
for the costochondritis which is ibuprofen in gel form. Then I take flovent 1 or 2 times a day. I never have trouble breathing or dizziness. My oxygen levels are usually in the 97-98 range. Any feedback is really appreciated.

Struggles of costochondritis
I was prescribed
voltaren
gel
(ibuprofen in gel form) . I don't like to use it every day since it isn't good to do that long term. I have started working out my chest muscles again and my chest is killing today. I'm currently using an ice pack .

Good start to 2016.........Not
Don't know why,but i feel rubbish today. My eyes look a mess. They are very dry and puffy and sore with it. My index finger on my left hand is swollen and sore. Put voltarol gel on it in the hope that it will help, also took some co-codamol as well to help with the pai. I feel so damn tied and exhausted

My running story & 2015 review (long!)
With it being NYE I thought I'd look back on 2015 and recap on the progress I've made and also tell you 'my story' - how I've got to where I have with my running. I guess it starts at school - I'm a short, puny, skinny so & so and just not built for most sports, certainly not rugby that was my school's

Knee injection
Usually after injection there is no pain this time I had to apply
Voltaren
Gel
and put knee brace on to stop the pain. Why so much pain this time? Maybe due to knee already being swollen.

Urgent help - gas pain
Today I had my 6th lap (in 12 years). Not sure if any of you ladies are still up but I need some gas pain advice as I am going out of my mind. It seems every lap I have my reaction to it gets worse - this is the same thing that happened at my last one but I assumed they were just useless and didn't push
