Best diet and supplementation guide for hypothyroidism?
Is there a really simple list of vitamins (and best times of day to take them) and a list of foods to avoid when starting out of levothyroxine? I have such brain fog that I'm struggling to compile a plan for myself. I really need to lose the weight I've recently piled on too. Also I have ADHD so I struggle

Hi all my situation is very complex but tl/dr has anyone had luck with any doctors, functional docs etc. after severely crashing out from Covid or experience with MCAS/ low vitamins and hashis? A little update
Hi all, I just thought I'd give a little update as I've not posted here in about a year and just possibly my experience may be of interest. I am not in ANY way invalidating anyone else's condition or treatment, this is just my story. For years I have struggled with low mood, lacking 'oomph' in life.

Ringing in Ear
Hi, I read this forum every day, and always have a takeaway from it about something I didn't know, so I'm hoping the group can help me with this new, delightful (ha!) ringing in my left ear that started about six weeks ago. I saw an ENT on Tuesday, and was diagnosed with Tinnitus. I had an audiogram

Another Study Suggests Taking Vitamin B2 and B7
A new study compared the gut microbiota of people with Parkinson’s disease in five countries. Researchers found that although people from each country had different gut bacteria, all those with Parkinson’s had fewer bacteria that make vitamins B2 (riboflavin) and B7 (biotin). https://www.medicalnewstoday.com

Can Hashimotos change into hypothyroidism
I've been back on Amour thyroid and started to feel like the real me again, in early January this year. At the last check I had in March 2024, my T3 and free T3 were both on the higher end of normal; my T4 was good, but my TSH, as always, stayed around zero. My vitamins are good levels, too, and I'm

Nature provides B12 drops
I received these drops today (recommended by this helpful forum), which are high strength 3000 mcgs. The instructions state 12 drops per day to give you the correct dose of 3000 mcgs. Could I make sure that these are not too high for a first purchase of B12 vitamins as others seem lower in strength

Iodine in pregnancy supplement
Hi All I am trying for a baby and I have been told to take folic acid amongst a few other vitamins. I have found a pregnancy vitamin supplement however it has 150mcg of Iodine in it. I understand Iodine is not good for those with hypothyroidism and we do not need it BUT my future baby will rely on
