Natto can prevent cavities!
I discovered that natto is high in K2 which is lacking in vegans and which the lack of can cause frequent cavities. Natto is high in K2 besides the other possible help with reversing the symptoms of Parkinson's as I posted recently. Here is the link I came across today. You have to check it out. [

recommended B vitamins
I have been taking Lamberts Methyl B complex for a long time but would like to try another multi B vitamin that is often recommended on this forum. Of course I can’t find it now so would be grateful if someone could remind me. I seem to remember there was one that was a large tablet (not good for me

Hypothesis XIIII
That a higher or lower concentration of B12 might be more bioavailable and therefore more effective and appropriate for treatment. —------------------------------------------------------------ The level of competence of those studying B12 is not sufficient enough to test this hypothesis or even consider

hypo/hashis pregnancy bloods and vitimins
hi there, Has anyone had experience of requesting monthly bloods from the GP when hypo and hashi and b pregnant? I am asking for monthly bloods for: iron studies, folate, vit D, B12, TPo and TGa antibodies. They are being very difficult around giving me all of these so my private endo got involved

Hypothyroid for 30 years
I've been Hypothyroid for 30 years, I take Levothyroxine 100μg during the night - to keep it separate from all the other meds I have for other conditions. I follow the advice that certain foods are 'not helpful' for a hyperthyroid condition (Brussel sprouts, Cauliflower - which I have very occasionally

I have PA, all was going well, but now they're trying to mess with my b12 perscipton!!!
Hi all,I'm a long time lurker, but haven't posted myself in a while. About 8 years ago, I was fighting to save my right leg due to bone tumors. 12 surgeries later, I lost that fight. During that time, I started losing weight, tons of anxiety, palpitations ect...This would all be normal reaction to this

Started new thyroid medication Mon 😡
Sorry everyone but this is going to be a rant.... As many members will know I stopped taking my thyroid medication on January 31st because the incompetent endo put me back on teva, which I certainly don't get on with (gastric side effects amongst other side effects) Through my surgeon in Liverpool for

My first Blue Horizon blood test results are back! Would be grateful if you could have a look for me please?
This is my first blood test since increasing my Levo dose from 50mg to 75mg. (Accord 50mg and Mercury Pharma 25mg. ) I weigh almost 60kg . It was taken at 8.30am, I hadn’t eaten for 12 hours and my last dose of Levo was 26 hours previous. Hemi-thyroidectomy 14 months ago. Before this my TSH was

Hello everyone. I'm waiting for NHS appt with endo which is 20th May. I don't know how much longer I can stay in work feeling like i do atm. I'm exhausted all the time. I cant afford private treatment for B12. I already pay private consultants for menopause care so I just can't add on anymore.

stopping vitamins before tests
hi everyone, I can’t remember if I have to stop my vitamin b12 and D before doing my medichecks test - the one that tests for t3, t4, tsh, folate, b12, D, ferritin and inflammation. I’m taking the vitamins in spray form now so no biotin - is there any other reason I have to stop before testing? Thanks

What the actual enzymes!
Hi all, l got some liver tests last june that showed up some elevated levels, GGT-99 ALT- 57, didn't think much of it, then got bloods done again Jan of this year, GGT- 91 but ALT- 38. Everything else was fine in the bloodwork apart from.low iron and B12, and chlosterol was a bit high, was recommended

milk thistle - t3 - conflicting reports
hi there my liver enzymes 151 alt max is 35 so very very high - last November were 48. AST 58 (max is 35) I read that milk thistle can help liver - and help conversion but also lowers t3 ? I’m Taking NAC 1800mg and inflammation is negligible. ESR 6 and CRP 0.6 ! 👌 ferritin 121 B12 902 and

where to buy b12?
hi all, I did search previous posts but am wanting the most recent info from the USA…where are people buying B12 injections? My doctor is only willing to give me shots 1x/month but I feel my symptoms start back at the 2 week mark so I’m thinking I might need to find a way to SI at the halfway point.

GP visit!
So I went to see my GP yesterday and discussed my symptoms, and asked about B12 injections. Got the same old story - test within range, symptoms aren’t bad enough, try oral B12 for three months, despite my explaining that I have low stomach acid and problems with malabsorption, which she again dismissed

Hello - I'm new to all this.
Just been diagnosed with Polymyalgia 2 weeks ago and am on Prednisone 15mg steroid dose alongside 2 x 500mg Naproxen, 1 dose 20mg Omeprazole, 4 daily doses of 2 x 500mg paracetamol plus 2 Adcal-D Calcium/vit D tablets. The pain is manageable now - I can get some sleep and the pain/stiffness in my shoulders
