Asking for a friend ...
There are more recent thyroid results from March this year after she got her hospital notes that are similar to the previous NHS test results: TSH=0.51 with FT4 of 12.5 Then there are the Ferritin, Folate,
vitamin
B12, and
vitamin
D
results.

Low Red Blood Cell count and GFR kidney count blamed on PMR. Is this true?
I have just had some blood test results. There are several results which need looking at but someone has added "Normal for this patient". When I have asked before PMR or Pred have been blamed. I took your advice once over breathlessness for example and the GP did further tests. Now the Red Blood

Hi everyone, I am on 4 grains NDT and 20 mcg T3 per day. My FT4 is just beneath normal range, FT3 upper third of range and suppressed TSH. My endo is supportive but says he has never seen anyone on so much thyroid replacement! I am wondering why I need so much (and have a few symptoms I would like

I think I might need a second opinion regarding my Behçet’s diagnosis & management. What do you think?
Hi Everyone. I posted a long while back, but I'm looking for some advice again & would really appreciate your input. I'm feeling a bit lost & don't know what to do. I'll try my best to share my story here. I was diagnosed with Behçet’s in 2018, which took 5 years in itself. It started with my experiencing

Daughter’s results causing confusion - Hashimoto’s AND Graves??
Hi everyone, This post comes with a caveat. I’m sat looking through my daughter’s blood test results from the second part of last year. I’m doing this because she’s off college again with some sort of virus, this follows a week of Covid. I’m ashamed to say that I’m only looking at these results

Recent research report
one section of a recent research report covered CLL and it included several topics including the favorable results of
vitamin
D
. Now I can’t find the research. Anybody familiar with that report?

A lengthy internal debate about suncream (won’t be out for long, shade and

d
top up will be good so not today). What to wear? All my shorts need washing which is a tactical error. Luckily my new favourite pair of leggings are clean and are light enough to cope with heat.

Summarising a huge amount of documents / videos the implications are Restrict a list including iron ,
vitamin

,
vitamin
C and zinc supplements amongst others to the absolute minimum and get them from natural sources eg sunlight / OJ to avoid binding available copper which is critical in health.

My TSH level is under the range.
I value this knowledgeable forum very much, thank you for all your help. I had my blood tested last week. The draw was at 9.30am and my last Levo medication was taken the previous morning at 8am. I am currently on 125 mg Levothyroxine which I take on waking up and only drink water for the first 2

Help with results - what would you do?
Hello I finally got a private endo to agree to up my meds from 75mcg levothyroxine to 100 or112.5 if I felt it necessary in July 2023 allowing my TSH to fall below range, and that I understood and was willing to take the risks. My 3 pm slump was dangerous as I was fighting to stay awake on the way

Over range T3 on combination T3/T4 medication
Her B12, Folate and
Vitamin
D
were also tested several times and these appeared to be normal. After some extremely helpful advice from people in this group we eventually found a private endo who was willing to prescribe a small amount of T3 to take with her T4.

Vitamin timings
Morning from not at all sunny Wales. I don’t know why I struggle with a vitamin routine and I wonder if I’m alone on this? Is it okay to take all of these at the same time after breakfast: Vit D/K, B12, Folate, and DHEA? If I take them then they aren’t near any thyroid medication but wanted
