Looking for a doctor / functional medicine

Hi everyone, I am on 4 grains NDT and 20 mcg T3 per day. My FT4 is just beneath normal range, FT3 upper third of range and suppressed TSH. My endo is supportive but says he has never seen anyone on so much thyroid replacement!

I am wondering why I need so much (and have a few symptoms I would like to resolve if possible) and would like to find a practitioner who will support / see if I can better utilise the replacement meds. I take vit D, b12 jabs every 3 months, ferratin is always on the low side.

I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thank you.

As requested replies with any information by PM only as we are not allowed to name doctors in the group. This post will be closed to further replies.

You are advised to get full thyroid profile bloods done to include TSH, FT4 & FT3 + vitamins ferritin, folate, B12 & D3 and antibodies before your appointment to avoid wasting your first visit.
