low lymphocytes in blood. High white cells in urine. Should I be worried?
Recently had a letter from rheumatologist saying my lymphocytes are low 0.5. And +++ Leukocytes in urine. As well as low vitamin D & low ferritin. I take Vit D anyway and am on MMF & prednisolone 7mg . Should I be worried? My named rheumatology team are not helpful at all, these results only came

TSH increase
I recently had blood tests due to feeling really fatigued especially after exercising. I’ve been on levo for 13 years for Hashimoto’s. Levels have been up and down. Last test was 0.75 and I felt fine. That was 9 months ago. Most recent test it was 7.16! No wonder I feel bad. All vits tested on the low

ferritin still low
As mentioned before my ferritin is 13, can’t tolerate any oral form and have had infusions in the past. Am being denied infusion as Full bloods are within range, no idea what to do now, eating plenty of iron rich foods, feeling really unwell and down. Recent test results: B12=651(187-883), vit D=92(

Massachusetts Opioid Register Year 4 results
I attach the latest Massachusetts Opioid Register results, showing the medications taken by participants and the doses. Dr Winkelman set up the Register to show that addiction and tolerance are unlikely to happen when low dose opioids are used for RLS. For those who have augmented on dopamine agonists

teeth clenching
I’m titrating NDT Armour over the last year but I’ve got a hypo symptom that’s bothering me, nighttime teeth clenching. I have no knowledge I’m doing this. I take amitriptyline and once I get to sleep midnight to 1am, I’m out for the count. I think the dentist told me September 2023 that I was clenching

vit d spray
I have just read through a thread of someone’s post and saw that it said the vit d spray did not need to be 4 hours away from levothyroxine, is that correct?

Tigger is bouncing around Winnie the Pooh, because he is happy his RLS is better
I was originally trialing 5 microgram 7 day patches that got me out of that dark tunnel but wasn’t 100% effective so after the initial 3 week trial I wrote to Dr Christopher Murphy explained the situation and he arranged for me to collect 10 microgram 7 day patches from Salford Royal Infirmary. I applied

TMS/TBS, Buprenorphine tip
I have just completed TMS/TBS(theta burst stimulation) treatments(36 TMS+10 TMS/TBS) It has been a game changer for the post Dopamine agonist depression, that was quite severe and unresponsive to meds. I currently have no depression symptoms. What I have found is that the RLS symptoms are decreased

Iron status, thyroid dysfunction and iron deficiency anemia: a two-sample Mendelian randomization study
Time and again, we see members with some level of iron deficiency [u]

Vitamin D: Secondary Analysis of the VITAL Randomized Clinical Trial (with a surprise!)
I don't know if this was previously posted (it's from 2020)...but it's fascinating. In their first analysis the researchers did not take into consideration...fat https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33206192/ Ah the secondary analysis was done by the same researchers from the original study!

Am I a poor converter. Latest blood results.
I contacted gp regarding hair loss, anxiety and depression. I have stopped most of my supplements apart from omega 3, vitamin d and magnesium. I take a brazil nut a day too for selenium. As always thank you to this group for its support .

osteoporosis diagnosis
Hello I was diagnosed with PMR and GCA in November 2018 and have been slowly tapering my prednisone from 60 mg to 4.5 mg currently. I was prescribed AA and vit D/K at the same time. As I have been on AA for 5 years I asked for a dexa scan so that hopefully I could have a holiday from AA. However much
