Is there concerning interactions with cytomel/T3?

Hey folks

Was wondering, are there any potentially dangerous interactions that me/people should bê aware of ?

Wondering as i deal with some stuff,só i take some chemicals, as for example i take tropisetron an 5ht3 antagonist /nicotinc receptor agonist,

Tudca/Udca (bile acids) but also others as sometimes limolene, some cycles of geraniol, and likely that i will take /cycle with other stuff.

Being an bioidentical hormone, would bê there any dangerous interactions ? Can you drink normally for example? I mean, i dont take antidepressants but still, tropisetron hás an effect on the serotoninergic system, i saw that T3 hás an effect on monoamines, could even bê used as an augmentation aside from (not sure) the chance of tirotoxicosis on people with no thyroid issues.

I also saw this website stating about amphetamines, does anyone here take amphetamines with It ? If so, appreciate If you could share, just seeking anedoctal reports on this, as i dont take amphetamines.

I saw this medlineplus.gov/druginfo/me... and wanted to ask here to get some reports.

do you take other meds(blood pressure / etc. etc. with T3, no issues?

Thank folks

I have to admit ignorance as to all the medications/chemicals reactions you are concerned about. I only know about Cytomel (liothyronine). I consider it as important to the thyroid as insulin injection is to the pancreas. If you really have to have it, you really have to have it. It takes priority over any other meds. On the other hand, if your thyroid is just a bit sluggish, will Synthroid (levothyroxin) do the job?

I am curious as to how or why you were prescribed Cytomel. I have had a hellish time getting it--despite 1/3 century on it, solo--because the doctors here have been forbidden to prescribe it. I changed medical doctors and thus lost the prescription. A naturopath can prescribe it, and so can a psychiatrist.

No prescription here mate, just buying from pharmacies that manipulate it. I dont get why the difficulty for them doctors to prescribe, are they risking their licensce if prescribing It ? Or they are concerned with your health due to taking cytomel, i doubt of the latter to be honest, gotta be something with their licensce.

It seems like It im not converting It well based on my bloodwork and response to It. Despite trying to up my dose kept having symptoms that ressembles hypothyroidism, as being cold, fatigue (which i cant base myself in just hypothyroidism) etc.

My whole bloods and liver is doing fine despite my issues, my concern is idk, seizures, toxicity with in regards of serotonin and other monoamines, but this stuff Isnt like SSRIs, more towards being anticonvulsivant, i dont think It might interact in a negative way, but asking If people here take other meds as blood pressure, ADHD drugs, herbs, álcohol, just to base myself with anedoctal reports
