Help with latest blood test results and Vit D3 advice
Hello everyone,I would really appreciate any advice regarding my latest fasting blood tests, done before taking my Levothyroxine tablet. I am still on 75mcg Levothyroxine since diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2010. After my latest post, around Nov 2022, I followed the advice I was given and started taking

Many things are romantic by candlelight.
Injecting B12 is not one of those things. 🙂 Power was out I did not just have a desire to inject by candlelight. 🙂

Wall Pilates
Hi all, I recently signed up for an app to do a month of wall Pilates to get some exercise and strengthen my core but only did about 18 days. The app I used didn't fit my needs and had standing to floor and then back to standing exercises. Then my B12 and Iron levels got very low and I just didn't

Help...how do I get my B12 through customs?
My B12 order has been with UK customs since 05/03. I don't know why as no one has contacted me. The pharmacy, when asked where my order was, said that it's stuck in customs but offered no further info or help. The value was roughly £58. Have there been any import rule changes recently? I'm going

Low Ferritin and raised Iron
I have always struggled to get my ferritin levels up. I’m into nutrition so eat the right stuff, including meat daily and have eaten liver pate until I’m sick of the sight of it! Ferritin was 30’s-40’s (30-200) and I thought I’d try a 14 mg iron supplement and it has raised to a record high of 57!

Update
Just thought I would update my situation after being diagnosed with Nash in 2019. After changing my diet and losing 20 kilos I have been told by my surgeon who recently performed an operation to repair a large hiatus hernia that I do not have Nash. My liver has returned to its normal size and it's a

vitamin deficiencies
I had most of my sigmoid removed because of diverticulitis five years ago. My question is my surgeon said that it should not affect my vitamin or mineral intake because the sigmoid doesn’t involve that. Got on finding that it most certainly does I get a B12 injection because I’m a vegetarian so that

New Here - Loading Doses of B12 Stopped Halfway Through - Anyone Else?
Hello! I was recently diagnosed with low B12 and was subsequently put on a loading dose of 6 injections over 2 weeks, followed by a further one injection every 12 weeks. I started this but became incredibly poorly after the first injection. After consulting with a GP, the nurse gave me my 2nd and 3rd

B12 Oral medication.
Can anyone recommend the best B12 tablet available. I can't get to my GP for my 12 weeks injection. This is due to no transport available. So in the meantime while getting a new GP practice closer to home that I can walk to, I'm going to supplement on a good B12 tablet. Thanks.

Worried out of my mind
I have been self injecting for several years as I was initially given B12 loading doses and 1 injection every 3 months when I was initially diagnosed with a B12 level of 153. I was then taken off injections and told that I should never have been given them in the first place and couldn’t get them reinstated

Sciatica
Has anyone had sciatica either due to low B12 or as a reversing out symptom?Despite all my longstanding upper back pain and occasional lower back issues, I've never had this before. Hoping my increased B12 and physio sort it out.
