In October 2023 I suffered what appeared to be a mild bout of Covid-19 but I seemed to slowly deteriorate from then on with what appeared to be worsening hypothyroid symptoms. These

Vit B12 sublingual
I've just changed to the igennus b12 sublingual as I get on very well with their super-b complex. reading the label I notice it contains methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin, the previous b12 supp I used didn't have hydroxocobalamin - what is it?

Alendronic Acid
I’ve been diagnosed with Osteopenia. About 7 months ago I was given vitamin d and calcium tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to

Can B12 Injections Give Muscle Twitches?
Good day Good people of this forum. I recently started more aggressive B12 injections, 1cc every other day. I have been having small muscle twitches for last 2+ years but noticed then being worse since I started injecting more B12 Any thoughts?

Doctor recommendation needed
Hi All, After a year of painful meetings liaising with my NHS endocrinologist, I had enough. She reluctantly prescribed T3 but did not really bother about following up or testing vitamins or overall health. My GP tries but he is clueless on thyroid related issues other than where normal TSH should be

Actually remembered to take the above this morning (I was 75 in range last test) and thought I’d better check BBE and was horrified to see the date was 01/23! The brand is Nutravita. MDDoctors
Do MDD have the time to look at the research that's going on in treating Parkinsons?Do they dismiss anything that's not peer reviewed. e.g My wife who's being treated for Parkinsons, has for the past year, suffered, leg/ calf cramp, wher she has to stop a few times and basically try and stretch it off

Private blood results
Hello again, I have some updated bloods and as predicted by the group, it appears my thyroid levels have dropped to an underactive level. So, I'm going to stop the Carbimazole and test again in 6 weeks. I'll keep taking my Iron and magnesium. Have bought a B complex but it seems to have made me feel

just below normal Vit D symptoms
My husband has been suffering fatigue, low mood, and poor sleep over the last few months. Quite comprehensive blood tests only showed that his D3 level is just insufficient at 49, when acceptable levels should be 50+. Is it possible that his symptoms could be down to his D level? GP recommended he supplements

Thyroid question please...
Hi everyone, I am writing to ask if you can have a sore thyroid without significant enlargement and with 'normal' bloods? I have had 'normal' bloods, it doesn't seem visually enlarged, though I feel like I am being strangled and have audible sounds when I swallow in my ears. When I move my head something

B12 and Ferritin
I said I would post after my haematology consultation. I had a ferritin infusion in February after suspecting that I was ferritin/iron deficient as a result of research into ranges etc. I discovered that 30 can be regarded as ferritin deficient, a lot more than the bottom of the range 11 regarded as

Any tips for Natural Modified FET (boost lining)?
Hi everyone, I have a persistent thinnish lining (around 6 to 7mm) after an episode of abnormal bleeding between periods (turned out to be silent endo and a polyp that did not show up on ultrasound). Before that, 11mm was my average. After failing a recent FET, my doctor decided to monitor my lining

Strange request from GP
Hi all. Has anyone ever had an unexpected, unprompted text from their GP with a link to complete a depression/anxiety questionnaire? I’ve received two such texts since my recent visits to GP and A&E. I have some but not all blood results from GP. B12 217ng/L (145-910) Folate 6.2ug/L (3.0-20.0) Ferritin

Blood Test Results
Hi I have trouble getting a GP appointment - in that I never get one. Test results are relayed via the receptionist so never any opportunity to ask questions. This is the latest test and as a result I've been told to vary my dose (normally 125mcg) taking 100mcg alternate days, 125mcg on the others.
