Being gas-lit: NOT Hypothyroidism, it’s Silent Reflux says Consultant Thyroid/ENT – Advice requested.
I’m now 73. It’s six years since I first presented to a GP with a swelling on my neck and poor concentration, which within a fortnight progressed to include zombie-like brain fog. Fearing lymphoma I was fast-tracked for an ultrasound scan on my thyroid which showed multiple tiny swellings on my left

Results. Advice please.
Hello, I have my recent blood test results as follows: FT4 <1.3pmoL/L 10.8 -25.5 TSH 0.09mIU/L 0.27-4.2 FT3 5.2pmol/L 3.1-6.8 I am still really hypo. Could this just be down to low vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin B6 in B Complexes
Seeking advice on Vitamin B6 in B Complexes. Background: Diagnosed hypothyroid since the late 1990's; switched to T3 liothyronine only since about 2014 because levothyroxine didn't help me . Diagnosed with Parkinson's (finally!) in early 2023. Currently under the care of a movement disorders specialist

evening all! please may I ask for some feedback on my daughters most recent bloods? she has previously had 3 above range tsh results but it had seemed to go back down. How much folic acid while on ED injections?
I inject b12 daily or at least every other day for over two years now. I'm lots better by now but have still slight polyneuropathy left. During this time I've experimented with different dosages of folic acid (as well as with methyl folate and folinic acid) but I'm still not sure what works best for

Results of test with a history of ME/CFS
First of all I have a history of ME/CFS not hypothyroidism. I feel well and have either recovered from ME/CFS or it is in remission, and wanted to get tests while feeling well. My only symptom is tinnitus. I have no fatigue or neurological complaints otherwise at present although i have had lots of fatigue

T3 clearing the body
Hello Thanks to all who help on this list. Sorry I can't offer more help, still , it seems, in some post Covid state. I tried to look through past posts to see how long T3 takes to leave the system. I think it was recommended not to take for 8 hours before a blood test. I'm going to get some

Help with vitamins
My ferritin and B12 keep going down despite the fact that I take supplements. Since being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, Coeliac and SIBO they were steadily going up - I got my ferritin from 2 to 75, but in the last year it’s gone down to 39. My B12 is at 318 and was almost 500 a year ago. Does anyone
