Is it Supplementation or just life?
This dilemma was better expressed by someone else on this forum. As often happens something resonates and I mull it over and can not give credit where credit is due. When under supplementing by injecting 1.5 mg Hydroxocobalamin once a day and taking 6 mg sublingual adenosylcobalamin I could only tell

medicheck results, what to do next?
I have posted my results before from Medichecks and I persuaded my youngest daughter to take the thyroid and vitamin test recently due to her symptoms of lethargy and the fact that not only I have hypothyroidism but also her Dad and older sister. Her iron plus Vit D were all low so she is now taking

Gastric parietal cell antibodies OR IFAB? Do I need both??
Hi there, I tested negative for GPCA, but I haven't done IFAB. Having done GPCA, is that enough? Should I also do IFAB? I am on eod si injections, but for my peace of mind and for my GP to stop upsetting me/scaring me with their lack of b12 knowledge. I'd really like to at least TRY for a confirmatory

Good news on memory following B12 treatment
Hi, some of the regular posters may remember me posting in absolute despair last autumn about my husband’s cognitive issues and extreme memory loss. I’m now posting an update in case it helps anyone else in his position. In summary he had experienced symptoms over a couple of decades since he was twenty

Update on Weaning off of Pramipexole
Hello Everyone, I am posting in case this might be helpful to those going through getting off Pramipexole (PRAM) or thinking about it. I posted last Sunday about not feeling comfortable reducing the PRAM, but through encouragement on this site, I took the deep dive. I was taking .25 for about 5 years

Elderly relative ignoring my advice re B12.
I wonder if others on this forum have a similar problem and can help. My MIL is 91 and has some symptoms of B12D, Which could be put down to 'old age' but I'm beginning to wonder if a lot of 'old age' is really B12D. We have repeatedly told her about the importance of B12 and how many older people

Nosebleeds and thyroid / blood test query / going private
Hi there :) You were all so helpful when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, and I was hoping I could trouble you all with another question. - My levothyroxine was raised to 75mg a day in February based on my NHS blood test (TSH 5.91 mU/L, free T4 15.8pmol/L). - Not really sure if
