Just diagnosed. Does this explain my life? Especially my recent experiences?
For as long as I can remember, I have been suffering with various levels of depression and anxiety, lack of energy, poor sleep habits and headaches.Yet both times I have come out of hospital with B12 shots, I have felt like a new man with a new brain, like nothing previous worried me as much anymore.

Hi, I was told that in 2015 I had a fatty liver from having a scan for suspected gall stones. I wasn't told much more and no advice or follow up given. Last year I started getting pain and a kind of tight feeling on my right side just under my lowest rib. Gp did some blood tests and said nothing came

I knew and expressed here that I was fearful of crashing this winter as I have since 1995 to varying degrees. I had set a marker of April 01 as a measure. I was successful although I will wait until April 01 to see it in my rear view mirror, and have a celebration although I am already celebrating. Some

advice, thoughts please, feeling rather desperate?!
hi I only got one response to my recent post which was so kind but no feedback so am trying again as I’m a bit stumped. I’d hoped going on NDT would relieve fibro symptoms and generally help me feel better, and give me more energy, but despite latest test results I don’t feel that much different. Certainly

B12 result after 6 months…
Hi, So initially in October I was diagnosed with what they suspect to be pernicious anaemia, I had a negative IF test but due to me having diabetes and no other factors which could indicate why I was so low in B12 they put it down to me having pernicious anaemia. I had 6 loading doses after which my

B12 injections
Hi,I've been diagnosed with PA since 2021. I was on loading doses, then 3 monthly. This didn't agree with me and I was exhausted so I was moved from 3 months to 6 weeks. I was still finding myself wiped after 4 weeks ish so was moved to 3 weeks. During my 3 weekly treatment I began getting facial tingling

what to ask GP
I’ve been on a low dose of Levo for about 3 years. It took ages to get up to 50mg a day as I’m really sensitive to it. Because of palpitations, tummy upsets etc I now split 50mg into two separate doses ; 25mg in morning and 25mg at night and I’ve been fine doing this since December last year. My test

Lanzoprazole and side effects
Hello, I am over 2 years past Ivor Lewis oesophagectomy and have been taking Lanzoprazole 15mg once a day, then Gavison at night. I’ve found that my folate and ferritin are low , probably caused by ppi use and wonder if anyone has managed to come off them. I know they have lots of potential bad effects

Hypo after all?
Hello everyone, this is my first post, though I’ve been gleaning pearls of wisdom from this site for a couple of years, so thank you all! I’m a 60-year-old male. I’ve had chronic fatigue since 1988; tight forehead pain and a horrible “saturated brain” feeling since the late 1990s (brought on by reading

Made my decision about ablation and very interesting article
Firstly, to my surprise I have an ablation booked for April 9th. But.....after doing much reading and talking to my EP I think I am going to decline at this time. What made my mind up is the article I have attached below which I think some of you will find very interesting. It talks about the PVI and

Angular Cheilitis?
Just wondering if anyone suffers from Angular Cheilitis with their RA keep getting it and mentioning to the GP but he just ignored it. I've had my B12 checked and it was ok. I've read sulfasalazine can cause it. I'm also on Benepali jab once a week. Ive also read it could be folate levels but I think

what does urine colour indicate?
Hi everyone. Just a quick question! I am on a cruise holiday at present and am SI 3 x 1.5 hydro b12 daily. My pee is a light lemon and clear so no sign of the excess b12 being pee'd out as far as colour goes. Does this mean that my body is utilizing all of what I am SI?? I am still experiencing neuropathy

Goitre and antibodies but bloods all fine
Hi, I developed a fairly big lump in my neck in July 23. Did the 2 week wait thing and had an ultrasound and saw an ENT consultant. They diagnosed a thyroid nodule and said it looked normal with no need for FNA. Consultant asked for endo to see me and I am still waiting for this or any acknowledgment
