B12 5mg, is it worth it?
Hi, I have b12 injections and have been offered ampoules of 1mls at 5mg. Has anyone had any experience with these, does it give you a mega boost so I wouldn't have to have as many 1mg injections? Thanks in advance for any advice

B12 Toxicity
Our Doctor recently did a B12 and Ferritin blood test and is now demanding that we stop self injecting with immediate effect to prevent B12 toxicity….. Has anyone ever heard of this and if not, how do we deal with this? My husband has megaloblastic anaeamia and stopping the injections could have fatal

medichecks results different from GP
I did a home test back in. March in order to get some information other than the GP test who wanted to reduce my Levo and put me on Statins. I take 100mcg daily and feel well on this dosage, when I was on 75mcg, I felt lethargic and not myself. The new results are CRP HS. 1.510 mg/L. (Range < 3

List of drugs by their metastatic prostate cancer cancer fighting properties
I asked ChatGPT to put the following drugs in order of their metastatic prostate cancer cancer fighting properties: Metformin, statins, mebendazole, vitamin C, doxycline, Silymarin and Esomeprazole (Nexium). Here is the answer from ChatGPT: Determining the order of these drugs based on their potential

Adrenal support - early days of T3
Hi I have recently started on Liothyronine - followed advice to start slowly and all seems to be going well. I am also on very regular B12 injections. I have a question about supporting adrenal glands. I had (may still have…) low morning cortisol, was given a Short Synacthen test which I passed but

b12 advice
Hey, So for ten years or so now I’ve suffered with a “on and off” B12/folate deficiency. I had loading doses and then injections in 2017 and my levels were at the lowest of 198, folate was really low aswell then but then they checked my levels a few months later (1803) and obviously they would be high

An update…..and pins & needles
Hi everyone, For all who know me through my infrequent posts on this site over the years I thought I’d share the news that I have received recently a diagnosis of thyroid cancer. Hopefully a fully treatable kind but not entirely sure at present. As awful as it sounds it is in disguise a relief to have

worse after b12 injection
really confused what and where to go from here… I had a b12 hydroxy shot done 3 days ago and I have had so much brain fog, fatigue and just feel spacey ever since. I also do have currently low ferritin of 20 and my b12 was around 250 prior to injection. I had been told people felt better straight away

High fever and AF
My daughter who is 62 has just been in hospital with her third episode of sepsis. She wrote "The registrar looked at my Apple Watch ecg from just before I went back to A&E last Tuesday. It shows that I had atrial fibrillation. She said that it isn’t uncommon for this to happen when people are unwell

How does it feel to have too much B12?
I have not SI for 5 weeks now due to anxiety/panic attacks arising after my last couple of injections. I am not sure if I needed to push through this or stop and let things settle. How can you tell whether you need more or less B12? I am finding this very confusing...

So, reversing out. Why?
I have read all about reversing out symptoms after having iron infusion and starting B12 injections. But can anyone tell me why we get these symptoms. What is the science behind it? Surely healing should get easier, not worse. Just interested to know why we go backwards before recovery.

T3 toxicity
Hi, I wonder if anyone could tell me whether it’s possible for T3 to simply ‘not agree’ with me? I’ve posted here before and got lots of great advice. My numbers previously showed me mid range through all the thyroid numbers but not converting well to T3. I was advised to take selenium and zinc
