My daughter who is 62 has just been in hospital with her third episode of sepsis. She wrote "The registrar looked at my Apple Watch ecg from just before I went back to A&E last Tuesday. It shows that I had atrial fibrillation. She said that it isn’t uncommon for this to happen when people are unwell with a high fever. However, if it starts happening when I’m well, it will need treating."
She also wrote "I’ve got an echocardiogram on the 18th as they want to rule out endocarditis - I’ve now been treated for sepsis three times in three years and there is a possibility that bacteria has seeded in my body"
I think that she needs to actively try to build up her immune system. Apart from Vit D which has helped me, do you have any suggestions that I could pass on.
