Hello there, I’ve been working on getting myself to feel well with the help of this forum for a few years, and most productively in the last 14 months. Vitamin D, B12, Folate, Ferritin all at optimal levels. Was taking 137.5mcg Levo. Was still a poor converter so saw private endo Feb who prescribed

4 week trial results.
I reviewed in depth the rationale for the amount of B12 that is effective and found it to not be based on credible science, specifically retention times based on the general population and no knowledge base on how the injection is used by the body at the cellular level with regards to frequency. self Injecting Materials
I am just starting to investigate self injections. What is the dose one receives from a doctor’s surgery and where would one purchase the syringes from and is it worth paying for the training to self inject? How does one trust the website one is purchasing B12 from? Thank you. B12again

Bench mark blood tests before switching to NDT
I would welcome any comments or advice on these results and on the process of switching from levothyroxine to NDT. Thank you! Hypothyroidism I have been taking levothyroxin 100 mg for over 30 years since my early 40s. (This is my only medication. Otherwise I keep healthy with yoga, regular exercise

B12 deficiency treated before folate deficiency
Please could someone post a link supporting the importance of this fact for PhonixGrace . Explaining B12 and folate are tested together normally for a good reason. If folate is supplemented before B12 . The b12 deficiency can be masked/ missed. Nerve/neurological damage can occur . Once B12 injections

Decrease in the bacterial genes responsible for the synthesizing of riboflavin (vitamin B2) and biotin (vitamin B7)
"A new study from Japan has revealed a link between gut microbiota and Parkinson's disease (PD). The researchers found a reduction in the gut bacteria of genes responsible for synthesizing the essential B vitamins B2 and B7. " Twitter thread by Vipin M. T4 low TSH normal
Evening, I've had more blood tests done and I'm fed up of feeling so badly every day. I've done medichecks TSH tests and cortisol. Only test low is my T4 which tbh never changed since 2016 TSH fluctuates. I had telephone appointment before my test results came back. Due to my chronic fatigue. Weight

B12 Manufacturing Process
I was reading a post about an Etsy shop offering injectable B12 doses so I decided to research where B12 is manufactured. I found this really interesting site and thought others might also find it interesting. https://quadram.ac.uk/case_studies/an-environmentally-friendly-vitamin-b12-production-method-that-makes-manufacture-more-affordable

Osteoporosis
I had PMR from 2016-2019. Took Alendronic Acic for about 6 weeks but stopped because it was affecting my throat. Had bone density scan around 2017 which showed some osteoporosis and some osteopenia (record has been lost due to GP/house move). I was offered an Infusion of AA which I had in 2017/2018.

First Private Blood Test
This is my first post to this excellent website, and I hope someone can help me understand my first private blood test - fasting, last levothyroxine 26 hours previously. No B12 supplement for three weeks prior to the test. I did find it difficult to get sufficient blood, this being my second attempt

Starting again...
I first consulted Dr P in 2010 and followed his recommendations for improving my adrenal and thyroid function, both very depleted. This involved taking Nutri supplements, then Adrenavive plus Metavive which I found better. Around 2017 I stopped taking the supplements because of feeling overmedicated

Vitamin D levels
Hi guys, have a blood test at my GP tomorrow morning after I sent a message about getting my Vit D, Folate, Ferritin, B12 etc tested Is it the case now that if deficient, GPs won't treat? My levels a couple of years ago were 16 so very deficient Just worried if it comes back that low again, that GP
