I suggest you join this Facebook group. Lots of support and everything you need to know about B1 therapy

I’ve been taking the high-dose capsules for several years at the same time as Sinemet with no side effects. Seems to work just fine.

There is a lot of information on this site about B1 and when I started taking it, there were posts advising on when best to take it and what the maximum dose should be at any one time. I assume that the information is still on this site if you carry out a search. Personally I take my Madapor ( I was taking Sinimet until my pharmacy had great difficulty sourcing it ) on its own with least an hour between taking it and other meds and food .I understand that some people have difficulty taking meds in this way and have a need to eat a dry cracker/biscuit with it. I did not book mark the inf at the time. I can not point you directly to the best place to look on this site.

The original research was carried out by Dr Constantini and he treated many people with B1 HCL. He caught COVID and is no longer with us. The clinic is still active. There are a few FB sites that are dedicated to B1 therapy.

As far as I am aware, Roy Prospenor was the first, or at least one of the first to travel to Italy to see the Dr in his clinic. He has a FB site dedicated to B1 therapy. There is a lot of information on his site in the files section Unfortunately Roy tends to be impatient and I understand that English is not his mother tongue I describe him as thinking in short hand. At the time that he went to Italy he was in a wheelchair; He is now mobile and as he writes 'cuts his own food up' and feeds himself using standard cutlery.

Daphne also has a FB site and has files with information available. She uses a different form of B1 and to my mind this form of B1 does not have longevity of clinical use and study at this time that B1HCL has.

She uses a sublingual form of B1 ( not HCL). Unfortunately there has been some confusion. As I understand it sublingual dissolves under the tongue but is not absorbed into the blood stream from there To be absorbed from under the tongue requires a different formulation which is not available for B1 at this time. There was quite a debate on this forum on this point and the manufacturers confirmed this to be technically the case at that time .

However, there are many people who follow her suggestions with positive results.

It is unfortunate, to my mind, that some people who follow her on other sites and have had success with her protocol, have promoted her as being a Dr. Whilst a doctorate in any subject is to be praised, my understanding is that her doctorate is not in medicine .

I think that there are other FB sites dedicated to B1 therapies that might also be helpful to you and have more information than I have on the where ,when and how of taking B1.
