Latest results and my plan...
Hello I am symptomatic of low B12 and/or Hypothyroidism. GP isn't concerned and advised me to take B12 supplements, but will retest Thyroid in 6 months time. My plan is to raise B12, Ferretin, Foltate, and Vit D to the top 25% of range and then see how I feel and redo TFTs. I am happy to pay

Scary collapse
So with the lack of a definitive diagnosis I have assumed I have ‘a bowel condition’. All tests normal as of April this year. Uncontrollable diarrhoea and permanent loose movements over a number of years plus diverticulosis are my history apart from Diabetes (2) low B12 Hiatus Hernia previous Bladder

Starting on Armour
Starting on Armour for first time tomorrow, I have been told to take 1/2 grain at 8am and 1/4 grain at 3pm. According to the Thyroid Pharmacists conversion table that is equivalent to 75 levo, I am currently only on 50 levo which I have been told to stop while I trial the Armour. I tried 75 levo 3

My body did not get the memo.
I accept that a test had been done measuring the amount of Hydroxocobalamin and Cynocabalamin that can be measured in the urine at different times after the injection and that the numbers are likely repeatable. I do not know if any testing was done on a subject that was B12 deficient. I find it unlikely

Iron blood test results are back, please could you take a look for me?
In a previous post I gave my Ferritin result from a blood test in March (this was 36.90) and I was recommended to check my other iron levels before taking iron supplements . I now have these results back and would be really grateful if you could let me know your thoughts please : Medichecks BLOOD TEST

Living with PA?
I came across this insane photo and it somehow struck me that this is what it's like living with PA. Building this road on a cliff and at any moment the entire thing can just collapse! Maybe the posts holding the whole thing up represent B12 injections? Rexz

Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Iron and ferritin advice requested
I have recently had a full set of iron and ferritin blood tests completed and would like some advice on the numbers, please (prior to these tests, only my ferritin levels have been tested). They result from early morning fasting with no iron supplements for one week. My serum ferritin was 160 µg/L.

Ferritin
I know that Ferritin is stored iron but I’m a bit confused about how Ferritin and iron correlate. Is it possible to have Ferritin in range but low iron - and what would be considered optimal Ferritin? My level has just been tested and has gone down from a stable 88 to 34 I’m sorry to be so dumb

Update following long-awaited GP appointment for results of Thyroid blood test
Following my last post, I have finally had my GP appointment. I thought it was solely to discuss my annual Thyroid blood test but it seems they had also tested for cholesterol. Had a long lecture about high LDL and the risk. I explained that I couldn't really do any more to improve it as I already

TSH dropping, but FT4 stuck
I started levothyroxine on 10th August on 25mcg, then went up to 50mcg in September, then 75mcg Nov and I'm now alternating 75/100mcg every day. My TSH has dropped considerably, however my FT4 has got stuck at the very bottom end of normal and doesn't seem to be rising despite me increasing the dose

vit b12 Hashis
Hello, I’m still quite new to the group. History of hypothyroid 9 years. Less well controlled symptoms last 18+months. If I’m honest I’ve never felt the same since going through huge stress 5 years ago when my husband was having treatment for a serious illness right after I’d just had our second

Evaluation of My latest 30 Day Trial
I was working with the concept of injecting as needed no less than 3 hours apart, up to 5 times a day and using more than one form at a time. I was injecting Hydroxocobalamin, Methylcobalamin with Adenosylcobalamin SC each time I injected. I thought I was injecting 1 mg of Hydroxocobalamin, 1 mg
