iron panel test
Would it be best to do iron panel test as I am now free of B12 and b complex or start taking them and then do?

Pink Blush after SI
Hi Guys Does anyone know the reason for the pink blush on the skin a few days after an injection? I know it’s from the B12 but does this suggest the B12 is injected too near the surface? It’s not a problem on my tum as bikini days are long gone but in the thigh it’s more obvious if I were to

nhs stopping b12 injections
I have heard that nhs are stopping b12 injections due to the work load on surgeries.the nurse said that people will have blood tests and those who are above the level will then go onto oral medication.my concern is if they give you a blood test just after your b12 injection then levels will be high and

Do I just learn to live with thinning hair?
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 1997 & was on thyroxine for 17 years. Then on T3-only for about 4 years, after testing positive for the D102 variant from both parents. I have been on NDT for a few years now-THIROID at first until its supply issues.I got on very well with TR MANN & was very disappointed

'Interim' GP blood results and trying to draw conclusions
Hello, A GP I saw recently (long story but not same one who gave me increase in Levo) ordered bloods. I have been on 100 mcg of Accord for 4 weeks, so wasn't planning to test for another month. The following were tested, I've included the same NHS results for comparison earlier this year.: NHS

Are my bloods ‘normal no action’? I don’t feel normal!
Hi everyone, I have posted once before but afraid I don’t prioritise looking after myself and haven’t got very far with pushing my GP or understanding anything. My GP says my bloods are normal on thyroid tests and Iron and I don’t need any treatment. I don’t feel normal at all though not sure if

Living with PA since childhood, now 30 and about to start SI, will I ever reclaim good QOL?
hello all, this is my first time posting here, so I’m happy to meet you 😊 I just wanted to share a little of my journey so far and ask for some perspective, I started visiting my gp when I was 18 for extreme fatigue, feeling faint and weak and shakiness, I think this was something that had been progressively

After Some Super Advice on This Forum
Firstly, thank you for all your advice on my last thread, needless to say I took it onboard and proceeded to get another blood test with the advised timings and vitamins etc. So once again I hope I can ask for your advice again, I'll post Januarys and now March's, they look better to me, but as I said

B vitamins sensitivity ( and B1 therapy?)
I have found that I am very sensitive to B vitamins and I am not able to tolerate taking long term of B - complex or some of its combinations as homocysteine formulas.. What makes me sick is Folic Acid, no matter if methylated or no, I have difficulty to breathe and weakness, heard arhytmias, which vanishes

So new results.
So been a while and just want the lasts posts forgot about and just treat this as now and what to do next. So I’ve been taking 100mcg Levo for two months and got my bloods done only available slot was around 11am so it is what it is. I hadn’t been taking supplements in this period to see how my levels

low b12 - When will this improve?
I have low B12 - 188 Iron Serum- 11 ( just under normal) Folate is 3.6 Iron serum 110 Vitamin D - 65 Went to doctor due to pins and needles in feet and hands and some fatigue, some headaches and waves of sadness . Suspected it was low Vitamin d or b12 as I had low b12 back in 2021 ( 101)

B12 very high with normal blood results?.
hey, hoping someone with some b12 knowledge can give me some advice for when I see my doctor. Last year I was having some b12 injections paid privately, my last one was in early August. They actually made me feel better, but had to stop because of cost. Then in October I started getting severe deficient

Missed period after b12 shots
Hi! I have been doing loading doses of b12- 2 a week for 5 weeks. I feel so much better! Only issue is now I have no period. I'm about 9-10 days late and not pregnant. Anyone experience this? Also I do not have PA, but something similar that I can't absorb B12 from my blood into my cells, making me deficient
