Daughter- overactive?
Morning all, My daughter has had 2 blood tests 6 months apart which suggest over active thyroid. High T3 and T4, low TSH They have started her on Carbimazole 15mg Her folate is 9 B12 - High normal 712 We have requested a VIT D test and ferritin. Her lymphocytes are 1.3 slightly out of range.

T3 Trial continued
Medichecks 20 March 2024 History:
Hypothyroid (after RAI in c2004)
Spent 2023 improving folate, B12, Vit D although ferritin still poor. Came off PPIs and now take Gaviscon twice daily. Gastritis issues ongoing though. Officially a poor converter (dud DIO2) so really wanted to try T3 Gluten

Help with Results and Hair Loss
Hi, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism formally in July 2020, and put on 50mg Levo initially although my TSH levels had been over 5 for the 2 years prior to 2020 with the GP saying they would just monitor 🤦🏼♀️ subsequent blood tests after starting Levo showed the TSH was up and down, but GP kept

Is it possible to have PA on a spectrum?
Hi, is it possible to have PA on a spectrum, where you get some B12 out of what you eat? I have to wait another long 2 months clear of supplements before I test again, & I just wondered if it can be a gradual thing to start with? Thank you.

update and advice please
First of all I want to thank the administrators and everyone who contribute to this forum. I look at it several times a week and so continue to learn about our shared condition from all the contributions. I need to take a bit of a sounding about my next steps – I think I know what I want to do, but

optimal bloods?
Looking at my bloods I think they are near enough spot on? (Any input would be great). However I still feel terrible with severe fatigue & body aches. I am taking vit D, multi vit, iron (heme) and going to restart cortex adrenal. As my cortisol is coming back low. currently on 1 1/4 grain armour

Update
I no longer experienced severe symptoms associated with B12 deficiency after 6 months of injecting 3 mg of Hydroxocablamin three times a day and supplementing methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin 5 mg combined three times a day in sublingual liquid for 8 months. The 3 years +- prior I did improve

Advice please
I posted some time ago a query whether I really needed to take Levothyroxine as I felt. I was being treated as hypothyroid to avoid more frequent B12 jabs. In the meantime my husband has had a health scare & I have been caring for him He is 100% now & I have finally obtained my latest Thyroid levels

Update: opinions please
Juat been told I have liw vitamin D.Could this be a reason my b12 was also low? I've read low vit D can effect B12 absorbtion. Is that correct?

Ferritin Levels/Hair Loss/Thyroid
Good morning I have started to loose my hair and the doctor is insistent its not a change in my thyroid levels, although my TSH has changed over the last couple of readings. So I was told to have a ferritin test and take vitamin D, I also take B12. Thinking that it would be low hence the hair loss
