B12 serum stains?
They come out of fabric right…right🫠 Tend to SI on my bed, and this week’s linen is a summery off white (in literal linen) that now has red blotches all over it from spilt drops of serum depot🙃🙂 this is fine Thinking of going in with a sponge and white vinegar—is that going to work well?

Help with results please 🙏
Hi, been Hashimotos/hypothyroid about 10 years. Was always on 225mg. Since perimenopause they've dropped me to 150 which I was reluctant but had to do. Stayed like this for 3 years but new Dr, new results - she wants to drop me again. Trying to balance HRT to help all pain and symptoms. Scared of how

B12 and fatty Liver
Good day friends. I always though B12 helps with the liver issues. Can anyone comment on this study? Says high levels can cause fatty liver https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnut.2023.1015046/full

Low B12 and ferritin questions
Over the past year I have had frequent respiratory infections and when not ill, I am always exhausted. I often need to stay in bed on my days off recovering. Alongside the exhaustion and frequent infections I have dealt with nausea and gastric problems which I always thought were due to IBS. I faint

sublingual b12
I appreciate that self injection is the most sensible route but haven’t made that decision for myself. Where do you buy the sublingual b12 as I can only see tablets? Can you give me the name of the product and site for buying. Thanks.

Information about frequency of injection
Hi I posted about a sudden deterioration in my health after 4 years of successful self-injection eod, daily or twice a week (depending on how I was doing). My last post questioned whether it was due to a bad batch of B12 depot - unfortunately, using newly ordered B12 doesn't seem to be making an improvement

I recently was able to see my moms records. She has been told she has mds too. Also there is a problem with her blood levels. The doctors cant seem to get her blood levels to go up. She is taking a needle injection every other day. Last night i stayed up with her again cause it was so severe. Sometimes

Do I Poke The Bear?
I had my B12 jab last week, I get these every 2 months and am grateful to have them. I've suffered B12 issues since childhood, have dim memories of blood tests and B12 jabs back in the day. I changed surgeries in the early 90's due to moving and have been with this practice ever since. So I'm not sure

Does anyone know anything about low SigA levels and links with b12 deficiency please?
Hi…I’ve recently read an article, but can’t find it at mo! that low SigA levels along with high gastrin levels can indicate b12 deficiency. It caught my attention as on 2 previous tests, a stool and a saliva test, the SigA was included and very low both times which says can give rise to infections, allergies

Gastritis
Hi all! Had my endoscopy last Friday.. my follow up (awaiting biopsies) I have mild erosive Gastritis which I understand can prevent B12 from absorbing? My Gastroenterologist says I haven’t got B12 deficiency ( before endoscopy) last test was 6 months ago! 226 ng/l (178ng/L - 2000ng/L (I did quote

Help?
hello all, I’m new here - both to B12D (?PA). 36yo female Do you find that doctors understand the reversing out symptoms? My GP is trying her hardest to find something rare that makes sense of all the symptoms but I think it’s just B12 and chronic low iron. She has me on 1x monthly hydrox injection

T3 (Cytomel): How would you fit it in these results? Or would you? And all the mistakes I have made on this journey
Latest results (overjoyed to be finally here) - TSH .74 (.32 to 4) T4 14 (9 to 19) T3 4.2 (2.6 to 5.8) I am on 262.5 mcg levothyroxine (Note: In 50s so 50×5 & 1/4 of a 50) I feel what I would deem pleasantly okay. Always have felt the best on NDT, but I needed so much I could no longer afford it. And

Son tested positive for gastric parietal cell antibodies
My son has history with h pylori, which he was treated for, but the symptoms haven't gone away completely. Last week I was talking about my own b12 deficiency and he informed me he has the same symptoms. I know he has been more tried than normal, but I put it due to the h pylori, after effects. As that

Injection reactions?
Hello lovely people. I started SI three weeks ago and each time I'm left with a red, itchy patch of above the area I've injected into (not the actual injection site, but next to it where the needle will have deposited the B12 under my skin). Because I'm on EOD injections this means just when one stops

Active B12 gone down
Hello, I have been on loading doses (initially from my GP and now SI) for 7 weeks and am slowly improving. My initial active B12 was 48.1 ng/L, serum 162. I was on daily oral B12 supplements at the time so my results were skewed. I know that blood tests after injections are considered pointless but
