Diet and supplements for endometriosis?
Hi! Does anyone know what a professional is called who can advise on diet and supplements for women who have endometriosis? Nutritionist? Dietician? Apothecary? 😉 (That's a joke) I'm wondering because I've read a few tips on health blogs, but I feel cautious about taking supplements before checking

Have you used Norethisterone with Prostap and HRT?
Hi! I've been bleeding everyday now since I started the injection on 10th Dec. Its usually more than spitting and my periods are 7 days apart. They were getting close together before Prostap but not as close as 7 days apart. I'm having a womb scan later this month to rule out issues there. I hope! However

Natural Lemon Flavor
My son has been taking Carlson Very Best Fish Oil. Just looked closely at the table and realized it lists "Natural Lemon Flavor" as ingredient. I know "natural flavors" is often code for "hidden PG!" Does anyone have any thoughts on Carlson Fish Oil or this ingredient listing?

Bladder neck contracture
I have a bladder neck contracture that makes urinating difficult I was able to insert catheters with difficulty so I was not terribly concerned about being very far from competent medical care. It is a 4 hour drive to a hospital with a urologist on call and my local very good primary care doctor told

Prostap 3 after effects?
Hi everyone. I received my 1st Prostap injection yesterday afternoon, I have woken up today and feel like I’ve been hit by a train, feel like I have the flu, my nose is steaming, head is splitting, I’m burning hot and feel so weak and achy. Just wondering if this is normal to feel like this initially

Problems post hysterectomy
Hi I had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I was advised by the consultant that between 10 and 14 days I may experience a ‘gush’ of bleeding/fluids and this was normal. My pain has been mild with the help of painkillers but since Monday (12 days post op) this has got worse and there has been more bleeding

Diverticulitis diagnosis
Recently diagnosed with uncomplicated diverticulitis, spent 4 days on IV antibiotics & fluids only in horrendous pain. Released on day 5 as pain was manageable (their words) & told to eat low fibre diet for next week & then to eat high fibre diet. I have found that white bread brings back cramps & bloating

Pace and Ablate for Persistent A fib - Your Experiences?
Hi Whilst in hospital over Christmas, it was decided upon a pace and ablate for my a fib which is now persistent and has given me cardiac decompensation. However, there was a U turn and the consultants decided to try me on further drugs and give them a bit of time first. I was discharged on 10 mg bisoprolol

I am 69 and was diagnosed approximately 4 months ago with locally advanced Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate, Gleason 8, with seminal vessel involvement. I've been on Eligard for 3 months and had blood tests yesterday but I don't have any results to share yet. I also had a CT SIM yesterday in preparation

Prostap and VERY heavy bleeding.
I have recently been given the PROSTAP injection last week (12/1/21) because of covid there is no option of surgery which is realistically what I need right now. They told me this would stop the pain and the bleeding and since Sunday (17/01) I started bleeding so heavy and I’m in absolute agony. It’s

Onycholyosis and psoriatic arthritis
I went to my GP yesterday and she had never seen anything in her life like my nails. I suggested I had psoriatic arthritis as I stumbled upon similar photos as I searched google...yes I know....google and all that. Anyway I had onycholyosis last summer on 4 nails which grew out then about 3 weeks ago

Neulasta troubles
Hi Friends. My oncologist added Neulasta to my chemo regimen (Abraxane) because my counts have stayed high enough to have chemo on days one and eight, but then they tank, and I've had to wait a week to get the day 15 dose. It's been consistently that way since the first series. This last time he ordered

Prostap injection - initial side affects?
Hi ladies I’m booked to have my first prostap injection tomorrow morning and I’m a bit nervous. Just wanted to see what your experiences are with initial side effects so I’m prepared! I know we all react differently though. Thank you x

Is it normal to have endometriosis symptoms after finishing prostap injections?
Hi everyone, I’ve recently started treatment for my endometriosis even though I discovered I had it 3 years ago. When first told by my Gp I was offered the progesterone only pill as I cannot take the combined pill due to suffering migraines. I was not able to carry one with the treatment as it made me

Micronutrients used in study protocol reversed my osteoporosis though taking prednisone for PMR
After I couldn’t tolerate AA and Forteo landed me in hospital for shortness of breath I researched a study protocol used in Canada which had good results. This was the COMB protocol using micronutrients: It used: fish oil, K2, D3 and strontium Citrate. I followed this for only a year and half because
