Prostap period hell!

I'm crying as I write this, i have severe endometriosis and i had my first prostap a few weeks ago and omg this period im having is absolutely awful! Just like my other periods, im just so fed up and drained from being in pain or something wrong with my body all the time! I was really hoping the prostab would stop my period and give me some relief but now struggling with kidney infection too so antibiotics are upsetting my stomach, I just feel so fed up with it all I really do! Cant remember the last time felt like myself and well!! Sorry just ranting but if any of you beautys have had aexperience with a bad period feel free to comment xxx

Prostap has a flare effect so if it’s been done mid cycle you will have a worse period this time round. You will probably find though that you don’t have a period next time you would be due on. This happened to me and I was much better after the next injections x

Oh right well it was definitely late on I had prostap, I think I set my expectations a bit too high thats why I'm feeling a sad about it today lol I can't wait to not have a period! Just for the break bring on the second one!! Thanks for the advice hunni I appreciate it xxx

Have you tried buscopan? That works for me and helps ease the cramps. Hope you feel better real soon

Hello. I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time.

I'm on my third Prostap injection and I have really heavy cycles and pain. As I had before. My cycles are close together too. So I know how you feel.

I'm sorry to hear about your kidney and I am glad you're taking antibiotics for it.

Hi, its nice to relate to someone, I think its to have a rant to get on with life! I think I set my expectations too high but keep going as we all do! Thanks for your reply xxx

That's okay. We all do that. I'm guilty of that. Even now. I push myself too hard sometimes and then pay for it later. Don't worry. X
