Prostap v Lupron
I have just had my first 3 monthly Prostap injection following 2 x 1 monthly injections. I believe Prostap is similar to Zolodex. I notice that many of you mention Lupron. Can anyone explain the differences and am I on the best option for ADT? One further question is that I am yet to have my hormone

Period after stopping prostap
Just looking for some advice/experiences. I stopped my prostap injections in October, I could not handle the bone pain. My pmdd and most of my endo symptoms went away whilst on the injection. My period came back on Monday, lighter than usual but more brown and thick (tmi, sorry!). I have had less cramping

Prostap experiences
Hi Had Prostap injection almost 2 weeks ago now. I’ve been diagnosed with andeno but they think I’ve also got endo. Obviously massive wait times to get anything done so they’re trying this to help the pain. Pain hasn’t gone at all and I’ve been bleeding (a lot for me). I know they said it can take 4

So Confused!
Hi everyone. I’m just after some advice before my next follow up next week. Had a lap in July, was told endo was found and excision done, shown pictures. Biopsy came back negative for endometriosis? But he excised something?? At my last appointment I was out on Prostap and I’m now almost 3months in

When to take Thyroxine advice please
Hi everyone, I’ve been taking my thyroxine (100/125), with all my morning meds + tiny bit of food, followed by breakfast 60-90 minutes later for 10 years and my endo says this is fine. I can’t say I’ve ever felt the thyroxine’s made any difference, and lately other major health problems have begun

Hi please help I was on the menopause injections for 2 years, I switched between zoladex and prostap, and although I bled through out the 2 years and experienced bad menopausal side effects it helped me manage my endo pains. In March of this year I reached 2 years of using these injections, and I'm

Started hydroxicarbamide
After having the prescription in draw for 2 years I have at last decided it’s the right time to take ( it’s still in date !) took first last night I am still feeling fine but platelets remain to high… Rather than wait till I might need a higher dose I’m starting on 1 every other day 500mg . Still taking

Revealed: many common omega-3 fish oil supplements are ‘rancid’
An interesting article with, ultimately, a pretty unsatisfactory conclusion. If we don't know the level, nor its impact, what can or should we do about it?

Castor oil for loss of sense of smell (anosmia, hyposmia)
Had never heard of this use for castor oil before: https://www.healthline.com/health/how-to-regain-sense-of-smell-naturally#methods-to-try Came across this when reading up on castor oil which I have been using successfully to treat eyelid inflammation (blepharitis). I'm also going to try using it as

Vagus Nerve Stimulation for PD
We have posted about the Vagus Nerve and PD before. Here is one article on it: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1935861X20301960 So I was going through my Facebook groups to see what I can cut, and noticed my Vagus Nerve group. It made me put up or shut up and ask the simple question

New medicine
Has anyone been prescribed Vasceba? It is a very potent ingredient that is found in fish oil. I took it for the first time yesterday. I didn’t sleep at all last night. Upon looking this up it says 1.7% of people can get insomnia. I am always anxious about taking new things but I didn’t feel weird

Seven Natural Ways To Get Melatonin Without Side Effects That People Have Reported And Also Get Better Sleep
In this initial post I only mention two of the seven ways to increase melatonin without supplementing. To see the other five ways, you will have to scroll down into the thread and look at my replies in the lower part of this thread to see the other ways as I added them to the thread as I found them.

Vitamin D in winter months
Vitamin D2 is ingested from a healthy balanced diet and can be derived from everyday foods such as: Egg yolks and fatty fish like; trout, mackerel, salmon or tuna, as well as cod liver oil, or fortified milk, juices and cereals. Vitamin D3 however, is most efficiently produced when our skin is exposed
