Hi I’ve been on prostap 3 injections and HRT for 18 months. The last 6 months I’ve been getting endo pain along with aching in my back and headaches. I’ve had periods regularly throughout the 18 months.
At my last appointment I shared my concerns with the endo nurse who told me to come off both as they aren’t working anymore.
So I stopped taking the HRT that night and the prostap should have started to reduce now .
It’s been 10 days since I stopped and I’m experiencing daily headaches, pains in my stomach, severe tiredness and aching legs, hips and back.
Has anyone else who has come off prostap that can tell me if these symptoms are normal and how long yours lasted?
Thanks

Hi, I'm sorry you have been experiencing this and that you haven't had a reply to your question. I think there are many side effects to prostap and it can take quite a long period of time for it to get out of your system. How are you now? Hopefully the effects have now worn off. I have just finished 9 months on the injections and was due for a hysterectomy Friday but on checking my blood pressure it raised significantly and I think the prostap has caused this..I'm now praying it will come down again now I'm off it and HRT. I took prostap without HRT for just 2 months nearly 2 years ago and had to stop as the headaches where horrendous, it took a good while for things to settle x
