does is seem my son has asthma ?
hi I was told to trial my son on a blue inhaler as coughs all year. But I am not really getting much info on if he has asthma etc as it’s been 18 days and not getting much guidance with it all. He is 8 and 132cm tall … I’m not fully understanding what the graph is telling me and how bad it is etc

Ventolin running out too quickly
My son (14) was prescribed a ventolin inhaler a few months ago because he was getting asthma symptoms during hard exercise. 1-2 puffs works brilliantly when the inhaler is new but is stops being effective after a few weeks when it is still half-full (checked by weighing). We've tried very thorough

Asthma flare up due to anxiety
Because of everything that I am dealing with and no real outlet (yet) my asthma is not being triggered. I had the worst asthma flare up I couldn’t catch my breath at all yesterday not even a nebulizer treatment and 4 inhaler would work. Had to go to the UC to get put on a steroid to get my breathing

Observations and open to reflections from others - 2.5 weeks into loading dose B12 SI every other day
Hi all, so these are the things have noticed since starting SI 1mg Hydroxo every other day since seeing private consultant 23rd September: 1. energy has steadily increased, peaking so far 1 week ago (almost 'hyper' active/happy) - from 3/10 fatigue to 6/10 2. Similar levels with mental energy/capacity

Chest infection from spraying Flea Spray (or was it just bad luck, flu season or allergy?)
Has anyone sprayed anything similar like flea spray (Indorex) and may not have ventilated the house very well, leading to breathing issues? I developed a chest infection soon after spraying the house with flea spray but my partner and cat had no issues. I thought maybe it was the change in the weather

Spirometry results good
hello, i had my first Spirometry test done two weeks ago and have just received the results, i should add I’m 32, had mild asthma all my life but under control apart from the last 4/5 years where my wheezing is unbearable, constant feeling of dust/particles irritating my throat and affecting my breathing

Hello again, quick question re pulmonary hyperinflation…..
I was sent to A&E with pains in chest/breathlessness/low Oximeter reading on evenings, it feels like pleurisy (I’m also in the middle/end of a Bronch flare) Hospital did an X-ray and it showed pulmonary hyperinflation, but they didn’t give me anything to help. So obviously, I still can’t breath

Smoke and smokers
Hi all -- Assuming your asthma is well controlled (via Xolair or your inhaler of choice), do you still get symptoms if exposed to smoke (e.g. a nearby fire), or from being near smokers? I have a respirator mask with me at all times, but it still takes a few breaths to realize there is an issue and

is it normal to have palpitations with this inhaler. Been asthmatic since 20years at least but hardly used my inhalers but lately I need to. At my asthma review I mention this about palpations so after a discussion tried flixotide 125 this was ok but developed bad pain in head not a headache as such

Duoresp Spiromax Vs Symbicort Turbuhaler
I have been on Symbicort Turbuhaler for a few years and it has been fine. When I last went to get my script filled, the pharmacist asked if I wanted to try the Duoresp Spiromax - said it was exactly the same as Symbicort, but a better delivery method/easier to use inhaler. I used it for 2 nights. Both
