Refusal to give nebuliser at A & E. Has anyone else experienced this?
I had the misfortune to have to attend A&E with an asthma attack. I feel very let down and wonder why I bothered. I had just visited a relative in hospital when it happened. I gave myself 10 puffs of ventolin in a spacer and when no improvement set off walking very slowly, the relatively short distance

Enerzair Breezhaler
Is there anyone on here using this inhaler. Just switched from Relvar and Incruse to Enerzair Breezhaler .. I'm hoping this is going to be the miracle inhaler to get me back to a better quality of life.. I'm in republic of Ireland so it might be called something in UK.

Dry Powder Inhaler
I have rather out of control asthma at present. My asthma nurse has suggested I switch my fostair 100 to the dry powder version of fostair. Is this a good idea, I could not quite follow the nurses reason for the change.

Update on my Sirdupla changes
I received a call from the health Centre today to say that the consultant doesn't want me to come off inhaled steroids all together. laryngospasm started in recent months
I have had a slight occasional tickle on the back right side of my throat for several years now. In the last year or two it has become much more easily irritated and I feel like food has gone down the wrong way far more easily. I am often not actually using eating when this happens, it happens when I

Weaning off Sirdupla 250?
Has anyone ever been asked to wean off their steroid before being seen by a respiratory team? I have been on Siedupla 250 two puffs twice a day for a long time now plus Spiriva Respimat 2 puffs once a day since the beginning of the first lockdown. It has kept my asthma pretty well controlled. Asthma advice/sharing your symptoms/peace of mind please.
Hello all, Would appreciate your thoughts please. First all nice to virtually meet all of you on here. I hope overtime on this forum. To connect with some of you and help to support one another. So it appears I have some form of mild asthmatic/respiratory issue. I'd just like to explain what's happened

Diltiazem and Rosuvastatin
I wondered if anyone has had problems with this statin and diltiazem, please? I also have to have a Fostair inhaler but simply don’t know what’s causing me to feel poorly. I feel spaced out, light headed and unsteady , especially in the mornings ,and often a little nauseous! Any ideas would be gratefully

ICU and osteoporosis
I have quite a basket of post-ICU/ECMO/covid/coma health issues, but the majority of them have been known to me since I left hospital, eg denuded lungs, heart, neurology issues, muscle waste, fatigue etc etc. However, a small bombshell has landed in my lap just recently. I have now also been diagnosed

Asthma uncontrolled post covid
Hi all, A year ago I caught Covid which exacerbated my Asthma. It took me months to build back up my lung strength and to stop having coughing fits. I began to feel I was getting back to normal, however for the last six months I have been getting repeated colds which turn into asthma exacerbation and

I have been on Seretide 250 for many years now and use it every day. I find that if I am having a bit of trouble with my breathing, I take 2 puffs and remember to count to 10 on each inhale. I only need to double up for about 3 days, thing go back to my 1 a day. Keep trying the Seretide and remember
