hi all .hope everyone's keeping well. I'm a severe asthmatic on tiotrpium .inhaler an relvar ellipta both .high dose plus .ventolin as an Wen.i V started nucala biologic injections . Had 3 so far .had them in hosp .now IV got to take them myself at home every 4weeks .bit nervous about it . IV got wat I think is sinus infection an crackly wheey asthma at min it seems to of been gettin slightly worse over last couple months .Gona ring doc in morn .

Hope your doctor can help and mention to him how you feel nervous about administering the injection. Hopefully he can help with that. You can only try. Xxxx

Hi! I’ve been taking NUCALA for years now.I was first person in uk to get it after NICE licensed it as in Jersey, not NHS so didn’t have to wait the 90days after license before prescribing it.

I’ve had no problems with the administration. I do it myself now too. It’s a bit like. Diabetic pen but the dose is already drawn up & all you have to do is put it against your skin & push it a little which triggers the pen. The dose is complete after the click.. take pen away, needle has drawn back up. You don’t even see it. Pupsy!

And MEPOLIZUMAB ( NUCALA) has been BRILL for me. I’m also a severe asthmatic probably associated with EPGA, & I’m in the triple dose every 28days. It’s been miraculous. I haven’t had a single asthma attack since starting it in May 2016??

Before I was Vv unstable & on max meds & hi dose steroids.. nothing seemed to work..
