Hi Everyone!
Well, I've been on quite a journey. To say the least. I've had MS for22 years and I stopped all treatments back in 2018. I've had 17 years of injections. I still ended up in a wheelchair while on them. This July I was dx with Cancer of the mouth. It started with white patches. I had ALOT of Dr, PA, nurses

Grumpy Old Lady in Pain - am I being too cynical?
I had an unpleasant experience at my very recently previous practice. I’ve been back in the UK for five years and only used the practice a handful of times. I had emergency surgery recently and have just had a crash course in how the NHS operates.! Am I being too cynical? and have I got most of the

hi, hoping Tall_Allen and anyone else may have some thoughts...... I posted several mos. ago after being diagnosed with distant only metastatic -- GL7, low PSA, thought to be contained and headed for surgery, but asked for a PSMA -- showed 8-10 lesions in ribs and scapula. Mostly low SUV. Diagnosis

Modafanil experiences?
Hi all. I am hoping to hear from people who have taken modafanil (Provigil) or armodafanil (Artvigil) for profound daytime sleepiness and fatigue associated with RLS. I am at the end of my options for RLS having taken pretty much everything except dipyridamole with limited success and I continue to

prasugrel
I have been taking aspirin with Prasugrel for 12 months since my HA and have now been told by my surgery to stop the Prasugrel and continue with Aspirin. I take ramipril and statins etc as normal but not prasugrel.I have read that it can be taken for up to 30months although this can increase the risk

post surgery blues
hey all! Doing fine, but took a further two days off work this week, post surgery. Felt i needed it. i did ask the surgeons where this came on the scale of seriousness 1-10 of the op. Not a bright question on my part, so they asked back what i thought a 10 was? I figured a heart op was probably

Help with reducing sertraline
Good Afternoon hope you are all well Been on sertraline 50mg then had low mood in menopause lack of sleep increased to 100mg for a week or so but gave me bad joint pain. Hello all Hope everyone is doing ok. I am new here. I found out end of August that I had a 17cm cyst on my left ovary. The MRI did not determine if the cyst was malignant or benign. My gynae-oncologist arranged for emergency surgery on the 6th September but during surgery it burst. I had my left

ADT + Zytiga holiday???
I've been on Orgovyx since 8/15/22 and Zytiga since 4/1/23. I'm also suffering from neuropathy from nerve damage that occurred in December 22. The nerve pain has gotten worse and my oncologist and neurologist are wondering if ADT or Zytiga are too blame. Anyone have experience with these drugs and

Weight increase on Bisoprolol
I recently read on the forum about Bisoprolol fumerate preventing weight loss. Are there any stats that show this? I have been on 2.5mgs since 2017, alongside 60mgs Edoxaban for the episode of AF I experienced then, and my weight has steadily but gradually increased, in spite of several attempts at different

Docetaxel only partially successful
I had a full body MRI scan this week at Royal Marsden in London. The purpose was to assess the effectiveness of docetaxel after 3 infusions. The results have been very disappointing, and I'm struggling to keep a sense of perspective - not least because I was feeling so good, and had seen all of my previous

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold test results
Hi, I'm fairly new to this site & this is the first time I've posted. I had recurrent non-malignant cysts on my thyroid with no other apparent symptoms in around 2006. Initially the cysts were drained using needle aspiration. (At this time, one of the sonographers who was performing the needle aspiration
