Vascular surgery

Got to have Vascular surgery in the next few weeks. Bloods showed up that T3 and T4 were out of kilter. I don't think I have been taking enough (Thyroid - S) I have now increased the dose - Do we think that will do the job or do I need something else to boost things along?

I am due to have vascular surgery in a few weeks - lost the ability to walk - major blockages in both groins. Lo and behold, the GP now wants to see me regarding thyroid levels. I am nearly 72 now!

I have been referred to see Vascular Surgery and my appointment is in a few weeks. The physio I am seeing for neck and shoulder pain asked my GP to refer me due to frequent left sided pain in my neck arm and shoulder blade and also facial symptoms on left side.

I was just advised by my vascular surgery team that CLL greatly increases your risk of blood clots hence the need for a surgical intervention. I am just in the process of researching this further and was wondering if this community could shed further light on this for me. thanks

Hi I have my first vascular surgery clinic appointment tomorrow. Can anyone advise on what to expect. Also any questions I should ask. I had an echocardiogram and it showed some dilation of the aorta. TIA 😊

I have two appointments coming up one in March at vascular surgery clinic and in April at cardiology clinic. I have to say that I am not as devastated as when I got my son's diagnosed.

I have just had very major vascular compression surgery in Germany on both left kidney veins. I am 5 weeks post surgery. I have been on steroids for a year due to pericarditis but finally got myself down to 5mg just before surgery.

Ive been on Apixaban for a couple of years with no problem. This week I started noticing dark red blood in my poos! No pain anywhere - but known to have haemorrhoids which occassionally show streaks od bright red blood. I read that apixaban can cause bleeding - anyone else had the problem?

hi I was diagnosed with a massive saddle pulmonary embolism 9th March, I am worried as when I start to move around for a few minutes my o2 levels drop and my heart rate goes really high , I’m worried this won’t fix itself and i won’t be able to have a shower even again , has anyone else experienced

After this whole merry go round with AF and an aortic aneurysm, my cardiologist received paperwork that I do not have any signs of an aneurysm but to be on the cautious side, he ordered a CAT scan w/out and with contrast. I am glad this is going well. But Still have to be cautious and learn to slow
