coming off gnhr analogue injections
I’ve been on gnhr analogue injections for endo and adeno for a year and they relieved all my symptoms. My consultant has now taken me off them as they started wearing off after 3 weeks and he wanted to “see how I got on without them” (which is a whole different matter and I’m quite angry about). I’m

Duluxotine
Hi. I have been on Duluxotine for about 5 months now and have not felt any benefits re: pain. It has been making me wake up.in the night and more tired. I had a cold turkey over Christmas as I couldn't get my meds and had to go back on them after 5 days as I was still rattling. I take Pregablin as well

Has anyone had hip replacement surgery with a pacemaker. I have already had a hip replaced but that was before being diagnosed with Heart Failure and having a pacemaker. Just wondered if it is possible as I was told I would probably need the other hip replaced at some point. I have just started having

Update on Head/neck pressure post from a few days ago
I have a previous post discussing this but as a quick recap - for some reason, after about 2.5 years of being on a steady dose, I suddenly felt unwell and v overmedicated on holiday about 8 weeks ago. I dropped my dose by 5, then another 5mcg and felt fine about from about two weeks afterwards until

Foot Cramps
Can anyone suggest anything I can take for foot cramps. I am currently taking 600mg pregablin, ramipril, hrt, zapain and naproxen aswell as iron, calcium and magnesium. The cramps are becoming more and more frequent and my Gp said to eat bananas and rub magnesium into my feet. Last night was unbearable

Zoladex experience
Hey there 👋 I'm just wondering if anyone has had a negative experience with zoladex? I am due to have my 4th injection next week, was supposed to be yesterday but appointment got cancelled. I'm also on Estradot patches and utrogestan tablets. I've never felt so shit in all my life and the only thing

Help with "sick day rules"
Hello, It's been a while. I am struggling and need some dose guidance please. My normal dose is 10mg per day. I delivered Mark to hospital on Sunday for a planned Total Knee Replacement which took place on Monday morning. He's doing very well, no pain (typical of him lol) and he was discharged yesterday

Blood test time - still no better
Hello I'm posting again to get views on my latest blood tests, although I think it's probably same as last time. I just don't get anywhere with my doctor. Last time some of you were saying that I possibly had poor conversion and I think my results this time are showing similar sort of numbers. My doctor

Perimenopause and Venlafaxine?
Hi all I'm 45 years old and have been on HRT (Estradiol + Utrogestan) for a year now. My main symptoms used to be mood swings, night sweats, difficulty to sleep through and hot flushes, which are mostly gone since I've been taking the tablet + applying the gel. The only side effect is that I've put

Replacement Mitral Valve
Hi, consultant says I need a new mitral valve, either cow or mechanical. I have no symptoms and very active. The more I read about both options, the more I am put off completely, both seem horrific and appear to have lifelong restrictions, side effects and troubles. In need of any positive experiences

HRT Questions
I wondered if any members could recommend or suggest good bioidentical HRT products. I've been on HRT for nearly 7 years. I went into menopause very abruptly after I came off the pill. A lot of weird health issues reared their head at the same time and I admit I wasn't very well at the time. I've mentioned

Painful Breast
I posted this some years ago on behalf on my wife: She has had a pain in the upper inner right quadrant of the breast for the last 2 years. When this first came up she had an appointment at our local hospital and received a bilateral mammogram and all was normal. There was no focal lesion seen. The

HRT or not?
I’m currently taking 75mg of levo & a lot of other vitamins, but still feel tired in the afternoons. I usually need a 2 hour nap, but it’s difficult as I work full time. I should think many of you feel the same. I saw the endo at hospital who said my levels were fine & sent me away. I’m waiting

HRT Question
Hello Ladies I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you all a joyous, prosperous and blessed 2024, in good health and happiness! I wanted to ask a bit of a silly question I guess, but how do I know 1. If I’m on the right kind of HRT 2. How much HRT I need 3. When I’m taking enough

Bereavement in depression
I lost my job 6 month’s ago, this was because I messed up while having to stop my HRT, I had to stop cold turkey and it made me loopy, depression and anxiety took over, struggling to get out of bed, but feeling guilty not having a job, trying to get one, but not at the top of my game and not being successful

Acute Autonomic Crisis
Hi everyone, I hope that you are having as pain free a day as possible. Just an update on my follow up appointment. I had probably one of the worst weeks of my life last week. Weaning off morphine and Citalopram, side effects from the Duloxitine and then such a bad flare up of the burning pain that
