I woke up, head was too crowded..
Evening, (for me it's 3:30am) I had a cup of my calming tea with
valerian
.. It made me drowsy so I fell asleep quite early actually, 8:30pm. Woke up 20 mins ago because my head was crowded & i guess i wasn't feeling that tired.. I was having a weird dream, but it wasnt really a nightmare..

Forget Cyber Monday, this is Sabre Toothed Wednesday
One essential ingredient is
valerian
, which may send humans to sleep but it sends cats up the wall. So despite the products blurb about calm, happy pets, it is quite clear that the over pungent
valerian
fumes have caused even worse behaviour.

Help raised Armour dose was doing well now have insomnia!(sorry for long post)
Two of those nights were solved by some
valerian
root tea but last night i had two cups and i still took ages to fall asleep. Three days ago i dropped the Armour to 1 3/4grains and old symptoms came back, mainly vertigo. So i put the dose back up and had awful insomnia last night.

L Tryptophan - Anyone had success please?
I do have periods of reasonable sleep, I keep a diary of supps, sleep etc to see if can recognise a pattern, I use Passifloria &
Valerian
at night to put me in a calm state. I have many self help things to make me 'drop'.

Beating Sleep Problems
Valerian
root especially helps slow the mind. Dr. Altshuler usually prescribes a 400-mg capsule. But you can get
valerian
root in teas, which may be more effective combined with passionflower. WHAT IF HERBS AND GOOD HABITS DON'T TAKE YOU INTO SLUMBERLAND?

This is torture!
Tonic water,
Valerian
and Chamomile tea. Warm baths, ibuprofen, calcium and magnesium supplements etc, etc. I don't drink, don't smoke and have cut out my one cup of coffee a day.

Can anyone suggest any herbal tablets or anything that is available without a prescription to help endo?
I've read that
valerian
and wild yam help with the paqin, has anyone used these? Also, is there anything anyone can suggest for fatigue? I spend most of my days sleeping lately, i have trouble keeping my eyes open after a couple of hours up and about

What can I take when I'm so stressed that my whole body is buzzing. I assume it's adrenaline or cortisol or a combo of both.
My problem is that I want to take a calming remedy especially to help me sleep, but products such as Nytol or similar that contain hops and
Valerian
, make me wake up feeling all 'jangly' even when I'm not stressed!

Sleeping Pills
So far so good but the
valerian
is only meant to be taken for 4 weeks so I'm now wondering if I should ask my GP for just a normal sleeping tablet to see if that helps. Anyone out there tried sleeping tablets at all? NWG x

Finally Some Freedom From Anxiety
I am also on 100mg a day of 5HTP, I have just bought a new pack which also contains
valerian
root .I take this with a 1000mg omega 3 fish oil capsule. I was on homeopathic Phosphorous but after 4 months didn’t really seem to be having much affect.

Some thoughts on flares
Supplements, such as
valerian
, can help some people. But for me, medications have been an important part in improving my sleep quality and dealing with flares.
