Vaccination question
Hello. Have not posted for some time and this is not pain but cannot find a way of asking if anyone is having the same problem with AstraZeneca vaccine. I had it four weeks ago and developed red arm and pain on injection site. Prescribed antibiotics which worked. Finished course this Monday since when

Hello, I'm New Here...
I just hope that they haven't forgotten me and will send me an appointment for my Covid
vaccination
, I think this every day. I don't know whether or not to bring this up with my doctor.

Great news for people living with blood cancer sufferers (from Blood Cancer UK)
We need to get funding for the research that will tell us which people with blood cancer the vaccines are most likely to work for, and we want the Joint Committee on
Vaccination
and Immunisation (JCVI) to give doctors the ability to decide when their patients with blood cancer should get a second dose

Are you a vaccinated CLL patient who got covid infection anyway?
On April 29th 2021, I saw my hematologist. He told me that CLL patients are more seriously affected by covid infections and that the vaccines don't work as well for us. My question is "Is there anyone out there with CLL who had been vaccinated and subsequently got covid anyway?" How severely were

Methotrexate to get of Prednisolone
I have just seen a new Rhemy and she is concerned by long term steroid use for what was originally diagnosed as PMR and now 5 years later is still undiagnosed. I seem to get down to 8mg ok and then struggle and start to yoyo around 10mg. This is an improvement on the 15mg I used to be on. Anyway she

Covid Vaccination side effects
Has anyone else experienced side effects from getting a covid vaccine? I got my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine a week ago. Ever since then I have been having headaches and running random temperatures between 99F and 100F. My normal is 96.8F. Appreciate any responses especially since I have one more

Yes we DO have a much lower antibody response to Covid vaccination
This could persuade the UK government to bring forward the second
vaccination
for cancer patients (the current interval is twelve weeks). This is a small study, Pfizer vaccine only, and we need more information, but for now CLL patients whether vaccinated or not remain at high risk.

Hypothyroidism and covid vaccine
Or will it be the same
vaccination
group as your age group, e.g under 50s, under 30s. I've been reading conflicting information about covids effect on people with thyroid disease. Thanks!

No Antibodies
Hi all I had the Quest lab antibody test that looks for the Spike Protein as opposed to the other unreliable ones and I have none after being double vaccinated with Moderna. At first I thought it was the unreliability of the test but recently there was an article in NYT that someone here quoted but anyway

I think I am new to the site but I’m not sure?
I think I am new but not sure. The storms thats swirl around us are starting to get to me. I am fully vaccinated but I have the feeling that all of these things are stronger than I am. Any advice on how to do this and stay mentally healthy as well?

CLL and high covid vaccine failure rates.
Hi all, I just saw an article on the news stating that patients with CLL have a high covid vaccine failure rate. It stated that we simply don’t make or stop making the antibodies. They are in clinical trials with a monoclonal covid antibody infusion in which they are having good results. I fell

Covid 19 vaccine and scans
I am posting for my wife. We received the results from her scan yesterday and a spot underneath her armpit has shown some uptick. The previous scan same spot was so small doc didn't even mention it. My wife also had her second vaccine dose 5 weeks ago. The oncologist thinks it could be inflammation

Hashimotos and histamine intolerance and covid 19 vaccine
I have been called to have my covid 19
vaccination
due to my autoimmune disease. I told the Dr I am concerned that I have been unable to find any information on whether or not the
vaccination
is safe when I have a histamine intolerance but they haven't been able to give me any reassurance.

Covid Vaccination
Had a call from the Dr this morning to say that patients with AFIB are in the 6th group as vulnerable, which i thought was strange because i couldn't get a flu jab. Anyone else heard this ?
