I think I am new to the site but I’m not sure?

I think I am new but not sure.

The storms thats swirl around us are starting to get to me. I am fully vaccinated but I have the feeling that all of these things are stronger than I am.

Any advice on how to do this and stay mentally healthy as well?

Thanks Jesmcd2 ! I seem to be struggling with too much on my plate. My main activity is keeping my house clean. I see some friends socially distant outside. I the reoccurrence of seizures has me concerned. No specific dx but it seems some MSers experience seizures. Home life is particularly more difficult than in the past. Sorry to sound so bummed. 🙁

welcome to the group

you could get get someone to come clean for you once a week like a caregiver hopefully someone you trust

or you can just break up the task to make thing easier on you

you may also want to get a dx so you can know your next plan of action. Since you're having seizures and meds would help you out

No reason to be sorry here! I am sorry for your seizures! I hope you have a great Dr that is keeping on top of that! And you are keeping a journal!!! ☺️ It's been a rough road this past yr for sure! There is always hope in the future tho! And if doing house work is overwhelming? Don't do it!! No wants to do that anyway!🤣😂🤗💕🌠

I had 2 grand mal seizures several years prior to being diagnosed. I am on meds that keep me not having them and I have had no more since then, because of the meds. Ask/tell your doctor that you need something to control them.

Beautiful dog! This has been a rough year for everyone. Take one day at a time and try not to overdo if it make symptoms worse, especially the seizures. So you are in the process of getting a diagnosis?

I wish I knew! Covid took out my usual social outlets of swimming at the local health club and in person doctor visits. Zoom has gotten really old! You know it's going some when in person doctor's visits are exciting! I miss seeing people.

Yea we all are tired of Staying in Place and not bringing people into our houses. Vaccination doesn't always take the fears away. People will not think to visit you even for a few minutes sitting outside in a lawn chair. Even seeing people thru the window is nice. Just point blank ask someone what day they could visit this week.Music helps me lot. Having faith in God gives me a source of prayer and meditation and the realization that Somebody bigger than I can be with me when no one else can.

Hang tough. We are all going thru this pandemic and although it affects us differently we still need to hang in there and handle it together.

hi JKennedy Welcome to the group. Things that work for me are sharing with others and having a life outside of MS. for me work is an outlet believe it or not. I am grateful to be able to work from home, and that MS has not taken work away from me. I relate this has been one awful year. Physical exercise usually puts me in a better mood but i can only do short stints about 15 minutes at a time. Wish you well. Keep sharing.
