Lung & Throat Pain
I have Cryptogenic Organising Pneumonia, Bronchiectasis, Aspergillus Fungi. I have twice now experienced, throat pain down to upper bra line. The pain is almost unbearable, and like a bolt chest to back. Not mistaking it for acid reflux or similar, pulse in my neck is off scale. Lasts about 40 minutes

initial treatment question
I am posting for my husband. He is newly diagnosed and we have spoken to the urologist/surgeon only. We were told surgery or radiation were the options. The surgeon said he would remove the prostate, seminal vesicles and 2 lymph nodes. (Said these would be teated for cancer because although the scans

To accept flu and covid jabs invite?
Always had all my flu and covid jabs with no issue. Actually had both the same day in September 23 whilst suffering with PMR but not diagnosed or medicated. Had my first shingles vaccination March this year after being on prednisolone for 2 months (on 10mg I think ) I had read so many posts about PMR

progressed on xeloda to Doxil…some fun things that happened on the way… with pictures…
I’m Beth and I am 4 years and 4 lines into this journey with the tough stuff still ahead. I am writing today to share a bit as some here have been kind enough to ask how things are going for me knowing I was having a therapy change. What a memorable month it’s been since having a small progression

Almost four weeks have elapsed since being hospitalised with Covid and pneumonia and a CT scan revealed I have IPF. In which order they occurred is difficult to determine, but I’d had a persistent dry cough for about 16W before Covid and pneumonia. The thing is I’m two and a half weeks at home after

Whooping cough
Hello. I have been struggling to recover from whooping cough which I've had since May. I am still bringing up phlegm. Sorry to be disgusting. My throat also feels like there is broken glass at the back of it. Has anyone else had problems this long after first symptoms?

38 year old and newly diagnosed COPD
Hi! So I’m feeling pretty devastated with my recent diagnosis. I’m a healthy weight, I don’t smoke but I’ve had asthma all my life, suffered with pneumonia and bronchitis on and off , and therefore guessing this is the reason why I am where I am. I’m waiting for my referral to come through to the hospital

My 80 year-old dad with MPCa, broke his leg and now seems to be giving up. Advice on best anti-anxiety meds desperately needed.
Dear PC family As you will see from my profile my dad in England has been on his prostate cancer journey for five years. He was doing well until March, still actively farming though fatigued, and was due to start Radium 223 in April. Sadly, he broke his leg on March 12 in a fall, was put in a full-leg

radiation treatments led to perforated colon?
St. Patrick’s Day I collapsed in pain and was rushed to ER. A CT ABD PE revealed a perforated colon near my rectum, broad internal infection (sepsis) with kidneys and liver shutting down. A life flight, three surgeries later, 3 weeks sedated and immobile in an ICU, and seven weeks in hospital rehabs

3mm nodule on Cardiac CT scan
On a Cardiac CT scan for my husband his internist (Not from MSK) found a nodule. This is what the impression said: "Stable 3 mm nodule in the left upper lobe, probably an impacted small airway or benign lymph node. Recommend follow-up per clinical/oncologic protocol in this patient with reported prostate
